Edit: Oh sad day that they now are back to 19.99!

I put in this thread, but people (Edit: Indeed, Sir Roufuss) are saying it deserves its own thread.

The LE Zelda Guide with the gold trim and cloth map is $17.99 at Best Buy in store. In-store link:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8174487&st=zelda&type=product&id=1162594204759

I didn't know this. I saw it at 19.99, decided using a GGC on it was good enough for me, so I checked out. I noticed the clerk was taking a little longer than I thought he would. Turns out it rang up 17.99, but he overrode the coupon's 19.99 limitation anyway, giving it to me for 12.99.

At the worst you can get it for 17.99, aye?

Edit: Wanted to add this - oddly, the LE guide was next to the other Prima guides (both the Wii and GC versions), and they were marked 19.99 as well. So go figure on that.

Edit 2: The bullet list on the back states "written specifically for the Wii version." Sorry Roufuss. :(

Edit 3: Holy shit. Appears to be 9.99 now. ....I OVERPAID THREE DOLLARS!!!
Does anyone know when this sale ends (the $10 off)?
looks like its over, but maybe you can use that coupon to get it back to 9.99!

Thats exactly what I just did. The guy actually told me they were out of the guides, so I checked the PC games and I saw them there. If anyone cant find the guide at their store, I suggest checking there, and don't forget the coupon.

The guide is no longer $9.99. It's now $14.99. I guess the sale was modified to 25% off (Enchanted Arms is ringing up $7.49 now). $14.99 still seems to be a great deal for this guide though.

fortunately i was able to get my zelda guide at the pinole,ca BB. they had em in the back and it wasn't cut in the spine as the past poster wrote. my printer isn't working so i wasn't able to try and use the $5off coupon.
has anyone been able to get the guide for $5 using the coupon? the guide is well worth $10.any more and i wouldnt of purchased it.
thanks CAGs

haha, I know this BB. I feel sorry for you. That area is getting sooooo BAD.

I saw some at mine finally as well (now some 1.5 months since last seeing them), but they appear to be 19.99.

If they go back to 9.99, I'll ressurect this topic.

For the time being we can consider this a dead deal.

'Course you can GGC it to 14.99 if you gots those.
Is this guide still 9.99? I saw this in stock FINALLY at my BB , but it was marked as 19.99
BB was running a promotion for $10.00 off any Prima guide. So, that's how many CAGs ended up picking Enchanted Arms and others for $0.00 as well. It was a one week promotion only.

I saw some of these yesterday and they did indeed ring up for $19.99. Can you use the gamepro game accessary coupon on these?

The $5 off any PS3/Wii accessory coupon should work, though doesn't, because it's not a "Wii accessory" in their POS system.

GGC should work without issue.

The new GamePro coupon that starts 2/10 should also work, though may not for the reason above with the PS3/Wii coupon.

My memory is a little short with small video game sale, was just curious as to if it rang up stickered price or not, since it is 19.99, I will pass

and I did get to take advantage of the free guides during that sale, but of course Zelda was NOWHERE to be found

If they're back in stock at my local Best Buy, that's great, as I can finally pick up my in-store order that I made back in December (they messed up my order, pulling the game instead ).

Don't see it online yet, so I'll probably go check on Friday. If mine has it, I'd assume everyone else has it as well.

I knew, I should have grab it when I pick up the WiiPlay from bb, now I went back and didn't see the 'gold' cover anymore. I only saw the White limited edition, is this the same? Any chance BB may restock on the gold one again? :(

yeah I guess.. i may have to order it from amazon since there's no tax on it.. even without GGC, probably cheaper than running around trying to get it from BB anyway... :(

Hmm, maybe. It's a neat guide for sure (although I still haven't opened mine... still need to play through TP once before cheating). There is also the nintendo power subscription offer, with their guide + soundtrack (although the soundrtrack is like 4 songs). Also $20. I almost renewed for that a few months ago, cause it's a great deal for $20, IMO.
