I ordered it Nov 12 and mine says it will ship today and that I should receive it between Dec 15th and Dec 18th.

Did you choose FREE shipping by chance? I chose the standard. That may be why.

I bought mine on amazon this morning, 4-6 weeks is ok by me since i don't want to cheat (i felt bad after looking up how to get a bigger ing wallet last night) and it was free using my amazon gift certificate.

side note: i highly recommend the amazon.com visa card, you get 25 dollar gift certificates for every 2500 points you spend, triple points on amazon.com purchases). I've gotten a few and its made DS, GBA games, and now this free for me. The interest rate sucks but i've never paid interest in my life (well ok 33 cents one year) since i pay it off almost immediately online. Your mileage may vary but they gave me a 12,000 dollar limit since i have such good credit (yes this amount scares me).

Logged onto Amazon today and it says that it will not ship until the 19th of December. So I called Amazon and they state that they haven't even received the book yet from the publisher, so that none of their orders have been filled.

I really would like to have this book as I am a huge Zelda fan, so what should I do?

1) Wait until Amazon ships it and (maybe never get it) have stores around me run out

OR

2) Go to a store, pick it up and hold onto it for a few days and see if the Amazon.com one ships. If so, return the book.

Any ideas?

I ordered the guide from Amazon on December 6th and it first gave me a shipping date of the 12th, then the 13th, and now the 18th. I'm guessing that it"ll change later today to the 19th or beyond.

That is a deal! The price on the book said $29.99, The price sticker said $19.99, and it rang up $9.99
It shows "out of stock" on the wb site, but you can check your local stores stock on their site.
