Ok, fuck, looks like I'm going to have to buy a netbook/laptop.
I'm open to suggestions...
The only real requirements are a reasonable size HDD and a DVD-DL-RW super drive. I'm open to a netbook/external DVD-DL-RW drive instead of a low end laptop, if that works better.

Trying to keep it under $300. I'm fucking broke as it is and the dog just came up with a leg injury on his other back leg last night -- not sure if he's going to need vet attention yet, which will further complicate this.

Well if you want to go the netbook route i'd get something from Asus. I really like the 1201n, though i think an updated version is due out soon too. If you don't transport your laptop much you might just consider a normal full sized system. That's why i bought a netbook, got tired of lugging a heavier laptop around.

I like the idea of smaller -- easier to carry with me if I have some reason too... takes up less space... and I don't use it for much. Basically, it just covers what I can't get away using my work computer for. Browsing NSFW sites and the like. I was running some Steam games on the laptop that's now dead (Audiosurf, Plants vs. Zombies, Torchlight)... and that was in Windows 7 Home with 1 GB of ram... as to whether a Netbook could handle those? I don't know.

What's the upgraded model of the 1201n supposed to be?
 
It is gonna be called the 1201PN. The big feature is that it will have an Ion 2 GPU in it. That is the netbook model I am holding out.

T-Ball parents fucking suck....(especially when it's 95% black). I had to be the official score book keeper. Not as fun as when I did it in college.


At least my friend's birthday is today so I can get fucking drunk and forget my problems for a night.
 
It won't last as long as a smaller netbook would, i think a friend of mine said he gets around 5 hours or so with his.

Anyways, bottles/caps are procured. Great name for the small bottles....they're called "woozy's". 5oz should be enough for a good sampling for most people.

I wouldnt even bother. All the good stuff is probably gone. I went there yesterday for the .25 hot dog/coke and checked the selection. Had something like 12 copies of 300 and 9 copies of Gran Torino. Came back thirty minutes later and they had no copies of 300 and only 1 copy of Gran Torino left.

Gonna stop by BB later this week and PM the stuff I couldnt get like Public Enemies, 9, 300, and Hot Fuzz.
