I own the 32gb and let me tell you one thing. There are no dedicated volume/track physical buttons. Get ready to pull your zune out(oh yeah babe) everytime you want to change volume or track. Other than that its a pretty good pmp.
 
I've had mine since day one and it's a real great device. Sleek and simple, with some stylish menus and all.

Not to mention the Zune Pass is pretty damn nice, if you actually pay for music.

This is a big deal for me...is it easy to blindly change volume though? Isn't it just tapping on the top or bottom of the screen when music is playing?
 
First you have to tap the side button, then you can either tap the top or slide your fingers from bottom to top. It shouldn't be too much of a problem, but I haven't had the experience of doing it since my headphone wire is so short that I have to keep the Zune in my shirt pocket.

Also, it really is too bad that more people don't recognize how good of a PMP the Zune HD is. The screen absolutely blows away the Touch (except in direct sunlight) and the Zune Pass is incredible. Some people say "well you can't keep the albums." The way I look at it is that by paying $15 to listen to albums in full before I decide to buy the physical product the Zune Pass just saved me about $90 in CDs I would've bought based on snippets, plus I get to keep 10 songs.

The Zune HD had a hype going on, but after people got their hands on it they realized its garbage.
And to think They would learn from the iPod Touch to have Built in Skype....
If they did, I would have bought it just for that fact alone, but since they didnt, im not even considering getting an Zune HD.
 
ok off-topic question, i was considering getting an ipod touch? howz the zune..i have no idea....can these be compared?

The 32GB and the 64GB 3G iPod Touch's Have a newer Processor so you better get one of these 2. Dont get the 8GB 3G iPod Touch because it has the same processor as all the 2G iPod Touch models.
 
Go ipod touch. I love my 1gen 32gb touch. It's amazing.

The 3G 8GB Ipod Touch is the Same as the 2G iPod touch{8GB, 32GB or 64GB}

The 3G 32GB and 64GB iPod Touch have a newer Processor. I said this exact same thing.

Just decide what you want from your PMP. Do you want Skype (as one person above seems to care so much about), a crapload of apps that probably have the same hit/miss ratio as the Wii, and the best web browser on a PMP yet? Or do you care more about the multimedia experience, really love music a lot, and want the best picture on a PMP yet (this cannot be disputed, by the way, until Sony decides to get their heads out of their asses and bring their OLED PMP out here)? I'm the latter, so I have the Zune HD. I had the Touch before and while it was great, the Zune Pass is just too good for someone like me who wants to dig into all the music I've missed in previous years without having to pay for every single song or downloading illegally.
