Zune Player 120 GB edition

I just picked up a Zune on the cheap and im having some problems getting the zune software to work on my pc. I have windows vista 64 bit edition and when I try to dl zune 4.0 it installs up to 96 percent and gives me an error message. Has anyone else had this problem and maybe know a solution I could try?

There is a 64 bit version of the Zune software...Did you download the right version?

yup dled the right version still doing it :/

Make sure your Windows Firewall is on during the install. Enter Services (Run then services.msc) then turn Windows Firewall on from there.

I have 64 bit Vista and it's working for me , so there's hope .

I have 64 bit vista too and its working for me too. You should contact Microsoft.

i contacted microsoft and a lot of non help that was :/. Was on the phone for 30 mins and still couldn't get it to work. I asked the lady why a Microsoft Zune on my Microsoft Windows Vista computer won't work but a 3 year old ipod nano connects instantly with no problems. I ended up tinkering around and went to a old system restore point an re installed the zune software and it finally worked. I liked being greated by a welcome to the social thing when it took me a day and half to even become apart of the social.
