Sorry if this is a repost, I ran a search but didn't see it.

It seems that this is only good until the 12th of March, so act fast if you want this. Play-asia is having Ridge Racer 2 for the PSP on sale this week for the price of $16.90 from it's regular price of $39.90. Please take note that this the the Asian version, so basically it's meant for China, but it's all in English INCLUDING the manual and it WILL work on your PSP regardless of region.

Play-asia is a Trusted site, I've always had a great experience with them. Again, I'm sorry if this is a repost, just wanting to share this with you guys. I have the first one, and it was very enjoyable. I finally was able to beat the special stage things after 4 months, so it was worth my money. This one's on its way now.

But it is still a deal I guess, if you don't have Ridge Racers 1. Even though the graphics engine is the same and such, 9 new tracks still pursuaded me to grab this while it's cheap so w/e it's your choice, just sharing what I saw.

The game has not been released in the US, therefore you would not be able to obtain it via B&M (unless they stock PSP imports ala Frys). There was a UK/Europeon version release, along with the Chinese & Japanese versions of course.

There's no news on it on Gamespot or a product listing on EB/Gamestop so I'm betting its not very likely to be released here.
 
This is a really good game. It takes many of the tracks of all the previous Ridge Racers PS1 and PS2, and throws them all together. Signature drift gameplay and awesome graphics are made of teh winz.

This arrived from Play Asia yesterday, it seems pretty good but I'm not sure exactly where the new tracks are. Seems very similar to the first one.

Still, I only paid $19 for it, would be especially good for someone who didn't have the first one.
