PS3 Wallpaper Thread!

I'm in the process of download the packs of wallpaper from the Sony message boards, but most of the thumbnails wouldn't load. Are there plenty of MGS4 wallpapers over there?

Edit: Not even one. What...the...fuck? I'll make my own from a screen grab and see about posting it here for the others that want an MGS4 wallpaper.

Finally! Its been, what, 8 months after launch and I can finally use my most anticipated feature, WALLPAPER! Yes, I am being serious too.
 
If you use a picture you are streaming to your PS3, does it use like a temporary copy to your HDD, in case the location changes on your PC? At least I can stream my photos, just not music :(

You gotta hit Triangle and hit VIEW ALL or SHOW ALL. Then all of the pictures will show up.

Why, you can do that on 360 also? Just every page of the dashboard will have the same picture.
 
Call me odd, but when it comes to PSP and PS3, I only like backround where the main picture is on the right, like that second LBP one.

You can scale and postion the image to fit how you want, but the better quality it is in the first place will help.

SD card, memory stick, thumb drive, there are several ways to do it. If the SD card is used with a digital camera, you should be able to access the card by hooking the camera up to your computer and going to My Computer and putting pics on there yourself.

Haha, should have thought about the memory stick thing :D Thanks a lot, forgot how to add things to the camera :D

I downloaded several of those pics but cant get the PS3 to see them. They are all .jpg's just like all my home pics which it can see. Ideas?

Make sure you hit Triangle and choose Show All.

I'm rockin' standard 4:3 480i until I get an HDTV :p it sucks.. but it'll do. for now.

I just resize them and make them more friendly for an HDTV, so not much has to be done to resize it on the PS3. Some KH wallpaper I get comes from the official site.

I have this as my wallpaper....don't really know what Pikmin is, but I liked the artwork. There is a full version where a have the pikmin thing in the corner of my PS3, and the rest is solid colors, so it looks nice
