That's insane...

It's gonna be hard to have them honor it though, what with the in-store displays of Batman with a release date of...today.

Thanks for this though. I ordered and will see if they sell it for that much. I'm not very pushy so I doubt it, hah.

Not a big problem though, I'm totally happy getting it for $38/39
Demo was fun, hopefully it's a great game :D
 
BB link still works. Try editing the store list and click on different stores. Eventually I found one that worked for me.

I know it is near to impossible, but can be hoped for :)
 
Holy crap, deal is so good I ordered 52850208 copies! That'll sure help the NPD numbers!

Seriously though, hopefully BB will honor this obvious price mistake in store!
 
Card keeps getting declined by FS for me. Tried both my FS card and a credit card. Too bad, would have been nice to get this so cheap and end up with extra credit at EB for cancelling my preorder.

So either they caught on and canceled, or somehow the store went out of stock before they got to my order.
 
I've got two on order for ISPU @ FS. I imagine once they're shitty sales reps roll their asses out of bed they'll follow suit with canceling like BB. Bunch of shady twats.
 
The problem with ISPU is that they usually go by the scanned price in store.. i.e. if you order something on sale, and then pick it up after the sale ends, they will only give you the regular after-sale price.
 
Even if you print off the transaction receipt? and a print off of the web page when you checked out? Does it help to make a scene? Maybe scream that the CSR tried to grab my ass? "Rape!! Rape!!! help me Batman!!!!"

My order went through too - ISPU confirmed and everything.

BTW, I think they have to honor the price written on the ISPU sheet. They wouldn't give you three days to pick up stuff otherwise, and nobody would use ISPU.
 
:O omgz... I hope this works for me too! I ordered 2 copies via FS. I wonder if it's approved/processed by local FS stores and what the rules are. Maybe we'll see some FS stores accept and others reject this?

That's not how ISPU works. They're supposed to honor the ordered price. Anything else is false advertising. I've done several ISPUs where the scanned price was higher than my ordered price. They've always just corrected it without a word of protest.
 
Wow. Maybe some of you guys who go to FS can scan your receipts if you get it for ~$8 for the rest of us just in case there is any protesting.

Thanks ragnar, can you confirm if they honour the price regardless of it has been processed yet? i.e. You check out successfully, but haven't received your notice of completed processing/ready for pickup? or is it only at the notice for pickup stage where you are really safe?

Got the confirmation on my end that it is ready for pickup. Printing it off now and heading it. Still doubtful I will get it but definately worth my time to try at least.
 
It worked!! Cashier never even said anything, just manually adjusted the price! I will post a scan after work, no access to a scanner right now. I am so pumped right now!

My FutureShop order was also canceled just now, in addition to my Best Buy one earlier.

Curse you, intelligent Ottawa stores!

I picked it up from EB for 40, along with Prime Trilogy :D
 
Went to BB [South Edmonton] to get the game + guide right when the store opened, and they didn't have any copies of the guide -_-

They said they wouldn't give me a raincheck for the guide [I know it says that in the flyer] but that I would have to come back again when they had it in stock.

Just a bit annoyed that they didn't have any copies of the guide, since I went there right when the store opened. Guess it can't be helped, glad the game is only $38.83 though :D

Wish they would drop the regular price of games back down to $60 though.

As far as how rainchecks work, I think you can just bring your receipt whenever they have the guide in stock, and they should give it to you.
They might call you when they have them in stock, but I'm not sure.

The cashier told me the same thing. They told me to come in tomorrow to get it. I dunno if I should even bother since once they get them in they'll start handing them out and I doubt they'd have enough for every customer.

Exactly, I'm not going to bother. They said I had to be there when they had them in stock, before they'd give me one. I'm assuming they'll only get a couple copies in, so I'm not going to bother going back to check.

So, people that actually got a copy of the guide, good for you :p

If you a require a game guide for this game you fail at life, and a multitude of other things too. Use of google for one.
 
He may not want the game guide to use. He could:

Sell it.
Give it to a friend.
Read it on the shitter. (I'm using my StarCraft manual for this purpose)

It's free, so why not?
