Iron Sky. I was expecting a serious movie, not a comedy and was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely in the "so bad it's good" category. I loved the pure absurdity in it. Sarah Palin as president was the best

Jeff Who Lives at Home - Surprisingly charming and although slow at times, it kept me entertained and interested throughout. The cast probably helped that quite a bit though.

Apartment 143 - I'm all for supernatural stories, but man did this suck. Too low budget for my taste and it just wasn't scary in the slightest.

The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 - I can't really decided whether I liked this or the first one better, but that's a tough call anyway because they were both fantastic. Under the Red Hood is still my favorite animated Batman movie, but these are right behind it. I love Michael Emerson as an actor, but I didn't really care for him voicing the Joker, even if it did kind of work. Good stuff.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.

Total Recall remake. I have read and heard that this remake was horrible and not worth watching. It's not as bad as people made it sound.

Battleship surprised me with creative creature/ship design and had a shockingly decent plot. For such a simple concept, they managed to keep me interested throughout the film but I'd never watch it again. Not worthy of high praise, but at least recommended as a rental.

Never even heard of this until 2 days ago and was surprised how good it was. Highly recommended if you like thrillers.

Flash Gordon. Freakin' awesome, with nice dashes of cheesy. If they ever make a remake, those art designers are going to have to try A LOT harder.

I really thought Sam Jones was at least 30 when he made this movie, especially with all those wrinkles on his forehead.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This movie is legit, even without nostalgia I think it holds up really, really well. Fucking turtle puppets from 22 years ago seriously look better than any shit that CG has done.

Its too bad you're still a prick with a stupid gimmick.

After watching Ted last night, I think I need to see Flash Gordon now.

You should. It's dumb as hell, but pretty fun. Too bad they never made a sequel.

The bit where they were showing off Robocop 2 protypes was cool. Nothing else really did anything for me, though.

I hear ya. It's unfortunate because there was actually some really promising stuff in regards to subplots with the wife and being a cyborg Murphy. The reboot has been advertised as exploring those more deeply, but I guess we'll see.

I watched Heat again last week and had forgotten that the guy who played Cain was in that movie.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky - Amazingly awesome and over-the-top.

Lockout - Despite Maggie Grace being in the movie, it was a huge pile of shit.

I most have watched Riki-Oh in a less than sober state at least 10 times one semester in college. So amazingly terrible.

Something about this statement bothers me.

Almost watched Schindler's List, but once I saw it was in black and white I turned it off.

So disappointing.

Is there some joke I'm missing in this thread? We aren't really getting pissy over black and white films right?

Between this and your tirades in the Xbox thread about retail games, I'm convinced at this point that you've gone full troll.

Just because not every post he makes is serious, doesn't mean he's a troll.

No, the fact that he's posting things just to get a rise out of people makes him a troll.

The schindler's list comment didn't seem to upset people. Also, I've seen posts by him that were honest thoughts/opinions.

As opposed to what? Half-troll?

Like a half-chub?

I play bad games

If anyone isn't going to use their code I'd love them forever.

I don't like Godzilla.

There are just so many un-Godzilla like things it should be easy to see why people didn't like it (also the annoying cast). Zilla being killed by missiles was the biggest thing that bothered me Godzilla is supposed to be far stronger than that. The army shouldn't be able to hurt Godzilla unless they are using something like MechaGodzilla or Moguera.

As opposed to only making a troll comment here or there, every post you make is trying to troll people.
