I really want to watch Enemy, hoping it's not that bad.

I just watched Enemy. Worst movie I have ever seen. The actors and everything was done well, the plot was just stupid, like a 10 year old wrote it. Spiders aside, the reaction of the characters is just so unrealistic. Maybe this world they are in doesnt have identical twins. At least the next movie I see will be great just in comparison to this.

Would the idea that it takes place in the guy's subconscious help you like it more?

Triple Tap-4/5  avoided this but was suprised

Beyond Outrage-4/5 heard Takeshi Kitano is going to do a third outrage movie

Switch-0/5 I read so many bad reviews about this but i like Andy Lau as an actor and dont follow reviews. This was shit, so bad, all over the place

Watched The Way Way Back and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Was odd seeing Steve Carrell in a role we normally don't see him in but overall enjoyed the movie very much.

You want to actually kill his character, or at least deliver him a severe beating. I thought that movie was ultra-depressing. Poor kid just gets shit on entirely throughout. If it weren't for Rockwell's character, this movie could drive people to hang themselves.

It is a really good film though.

Unbreakable - 3.25/5

Starts off great then gets bad. The late scenes just occur without any explanation as to what is happening. Maybe it was censored.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope - 4/5

- Damn it's 1 day off the 37th anniversary of its theatrical release.

Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back - 4.25/5

A little better than the original. WTF the Bluray does not have any special features. FU George Lucas.

All the Star Wars special features were put on separate discs only included in the "Complete Saga" boxset.

Sam Rockwell was amazing in that one.

Great movie. It didn't scream melodrama.

Ridiculous! There was no mention of this on the Amazon sale page, nor anywhere else without doing research. Stupid George Lucas! On that note, are Episodes 1-3 worth watching?

You're better off just watching Mr.Plinkeet's reviews on those three films which IMO are far more entertaining than the films.

Never heard of him. Is he RedLetterMedia? Looks like their review shits on Phantom Menace, but not gonna watch it till after Return of the Jedi.

I can't imagine watching a fucking three hour long review of a movie without having seen the god damn movie in the first place.

Fargo

"Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah , yeah, yeah, yeah?" Whoever wrote this script should be shot in the head! This piece of crap was so annoying to watch and half the characters seemed retarded!

You have got to be joking. The characters are that way on purpose, it's Fargo Minnesota...

Written, produced, edited, and directed by the masterful Coen brothers. Fargo recieved 7 Academy Award nominations, won best screenplay and best actress. Won BAFTA and best director award. Inducted into the US National Film Registry.

94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Has been produced into a TV show currently airing, with a rating of 87 on Metacritic.

I can't decide if you troll in here or just have insanely shitty taste in movies. Cause you hate on a ton of classics.

There's nothing wrong about disliking classics, it's just a problem when a person fails to see why the movie is a classic.

On the other hand, anyone who dislikes Boondock Saints can't be all bad, right?

Yeah. I liked Episode III the most from the recent ones. The younglings line in it was kind of funny.

I though it was funny and Brad Pitt gave a really good performance. Now their worst film would be the Ladykillers remake.

The end is the best part, except maybe the additional scenes which seem a bit too perfect technically compared to the rest.

Episode 1 had some cool parts (Podracing, Darth Maul), but the story was extremely weak and most of the middle of the movie existed solely to introduce Anakin.

Episode 2 had a much stronger story but a handful of re-arranged plot elements and a horrible B plot love story between Anakin and Padme marred an otherwise decent film.

Episode 3 had a great story and some nice action pieces, but was once again marred by the Anakin/Padme love story and a refusal to have a CGI Palpatine fighting Mace Windu.

Also, if you can track down the Genndy Tartakovsky Star Wars: Clone Wars miniseries, they act as a bridge between Episodes II and III, particularly the last short, which shows what happens during the prologue scroll of Episode III.

How would you rate each episode?

In a scale of 1-10,

I: 6 Darth Maul, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Qui-Gon Jinn ftw

II: 6.5 for some cool fights and Obi Wan taking a larger role in the main story.

II. 7 for taking it to the next level. It was too serious though.

I think that they traded some elements from the first trilogy around too much without balancing them. For example, the adventure and journey element keeps decreasing as the episodes progress and the intensity of the fights increase as the episodes progress. They're unbalanced, but if you focus on their better qualities, then they aren't so bad.

The dub is awful but you can stream it for free from Amazon with Prime. I was just asking because the original was far from perfect although it was a good film.
