The Haunting in Connecticut - Not much to say about this one. It isn't scary but it isn't unwatchable. It drags on a bit too long. Some very graphic parts if you want (or don't want) to see body parts get cut off.

I need a movie that will...
1. Make my fiancee like me more/forgive a boneheaded move on my part.
2. Isn't the Notebook as I've sat through that about a million times.
3. Is available via Netflix in some way, shape or form.
4. Doesn't involve John Cusack because I hate him.
Thanks CAG!
EDIT - Oh, before I forget. I saw Sunshine Cleaning yesterday. It was worth a viewing. Not much else to say about it. I don't know if I buy the two main characters as impoverished housekeepers and slackers respectively. They're pretty well made up and perfectly coiffed for the whole movie.

Quantum of Solace - 7/10
Not as good as Casino Royale, but Daniel Craig is the best Bond ever. Also it in Blu Ray helps.

Taken-- - Pretty intense towards the end but Maggie Grace as a 17 year old is just silly. It's like the directors told her that in order to seem younger, she should run everywhere in the movie. Still, worth a watch if only to see Liam Neeson channel Sam Fisher (ie old, angry, retired ninja).
man you must be a mind reader-cuz that is my thoughts exactly really like the flick and liam but that "lost" chick was running around WITH her arms flapping behind her trying hard as hell to look 17.
SO I WATCHED G.I.JOE AND I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKED IT BUT THEN AGAIN I WAS DRINKING WITH TWO OF MY FRIENDS-so i DONT KNOW IF IT WAS REALLY THAT GOOD OR WAS JUST THE LIQ. but if your of drinking age and grew up watching gi joe throw it in when you have friends over.
THE USUAL SUSPECT one of my fav movies of all time

GHOST---ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND---SORRY THATS THE ONLY TWO MOVIES I CAN THINK YOULL LIKE AS MUCH AS HER WHILE WATCHING. REMEMBER SEEING NOTTING HILL AND LIKING IT AS WELL. CANT THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE NOT A BIG ROMANTIC MOVIE GUY but those movies should be available and where pretty good.
OR YOU CAN MAKE IT WORSE AND WATCH BROKE BACKMOUNTAIN--wich incedently was a good movie too
SEINFELD "not that theres anything wrong with that"

New Jack City - Decent urban crime drama/Scarface in the early 90s in NYC. The best part is seeing Chris Rock as the inspiration for Dave Chapelle's "Tyrone Biggums" crackhead character.

I do highly recommend Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. You should definately check it out, even if it isn't for your girlfriend but just for yourself.
couldn't agree more. watch this movie, whether or not you're with your lady.

This is the second time I've seen it except this time it's in BR. That and a brunette Julie Baez makes this a WIN. Oh, yeah. Gratuitous Violence too. xD
