Black/White Wii + Wii Sports Resort $170 +tax fs @ Target.com

I guess I'm an ass for buying it yesterday at Gamestop. Even though it was only like $145 cash that I had to pay. But now I'm going to pay cash for games for it. Suggestions?? I think I'm going to get Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros, MLB Power Pros, and Tiger Woods 10. I don't think I'd like Zelda or any of that.

It's because it comes with the Wii Motion Plus already attached to it. The Wii Motion Plus plugs into the bottom of the Wiimote.

thinking of getting the black wii. i'm not all that familiar with the system.
my gf really wants it and i might play it too for a few games. so do i really need two controllers and two nunchunks? could we just pass the remote back and forth if we played a party game together, if it's turned based? aren't most? the extra 70 bucks for another set of remotes is killing the wii deals for me. do i really need motion plus for the second one? recall hearing that not many games use it. plus the games i am interested are fairly old now.

Sadly I'm in that boat that if I could transfer my files from my white Wii to the new one, I'd probably jump on this deal. Nintendo lost easy money due to their shortsightedness IMO.

Walmart has the deal where you get a free Wiimote with Nunchuk. Most games? No I don't think most are turn based, it depends on what you're playing. If you want to play Mario Kart, which is an awesome game and one that I'd definitely want to play if I were you, then you will need 2 Wiimotes.

For a lot of games you just need 2 wiimotes and won't need the nunchuk. You can always use one of the Gamestop codes for a cheaper wiimote.

Yes you need 2 controllers and chucks if you want to play together, and that's why most people enjoy the wii is multiplayer. Yes you can pass on turn based, but you'd be restricting games you can play seriously. I think there's a lot of turn based but that's not as fun. Yup the controllers rip you off. You'll want motion plus if you want to play new games. Not a lot use it but everything will start to. Well then you can wait on getting the 2nd motion plus.

Oh, you mean like when almost any other URL is posted, such as Amazon links with embedded CAG affiliation? ;)

(Starts slow clap...)

The only affiliate I'm buying through is The Creator!

But anyways, if your Wii is linked to your Club Nintendo account, it keeps track of your games, and I believe if you link the new Wii you can re-download all your games. You do have to have the account set up, but that just takes a few minutes.

is this the best deal going for Wii Consoles right now? i tried stacking a few codes for GS to go with my store credit, but couldn't find anything that worked with consoles...

I needed a second Wiimote so I got it from Wal-Mart ... paid the extra $15 [it was $215+tax, they give you a Noby Wiimote for free but I wanted the official one], and I have two wii-motes with wii motion plus. Probably a better deal if you need two. :)

I just bought one from Meijer. I'm counting on bing cashback to bring it to 159.99. I did stack it with free shipping, but I've heard it usually works regardless. We will see!
