Blur - $20 Off Manufacturer Coupon
nice coupon.. , hope there migt b a deal to stack n make it 20
Me too! Im crossing my fingers on one of those Target $37 deals, making it $17. The coupon is good till 6/30, so you know at the very most, Blur will be $30, but maybe even lower if other promos happen.
Anyone care to post the coupon? I'm not too comfortable installing this "coupon printer."
Little excerpt from BlueLightSpcial of slickdeals:

Save $20 when you purchase one (1) Blur Game
NOT VALID WITH ANY OTHER DISCOUNTS

Consumer: Redeem by purchasing one (1) Blur any platform. May not be reproduced. Not valid online. Not valid on prior purchase. Coupon must be surrendered at the time of purchase. Void where prohibited. Void if transferred to any person, firm, or group prior to store redemption. VALID IN USA ONLY. Limit one coupon per purchase.

=======================

Each coupon has a unique code, so don't discuss copying or posting a PDF of it, they are all unique.

Well that sucks.

That's standard on manufacturer coupons mate, if there is a store sale, you certainly can use this.

I installed the printer and accidentally printed it twice (waste of much color ink)
States:
-For a limited time (correct), while supplies last (yeah, right, expecting mass sellouts here? NOT!)
-6/15/10 (not sure if that's start or print date)
-Save $20 when you purchase one (1) Blur game (update: says ANY platform in fine print)
-Not valid with any other offers or discounts (obviously YMMV)
-Expires 6/30/2010 (gives you 2 weeks to git-er-dun)
-May not be reproduced (YMMV, different "dot-scan" barcodes on each printout, UPC is same)
-RETAILER: Do not accept without a dot-scan barcode below expiration date (bold fine print, also YMMV)
-Not valid online (bummer no Amazon if they PM anyone)
-Not valid on prior purchase (that's what return/rebuy is for!)
-Obvious stuff: one coupon per purchase, void where prohibited, must be surrendered, etc.

I will pick this up for $30 at Best Buy, but hoping for an even better deal before 6/30...

expiration info should be added to OP so we know what sort of time frame we're working with

Blur is a great game, especially for multiplayer. Well worth it at $40, but if you can wait for $30 at Best Buy next week its an excellent deal.

Aww, and I thought the K-Mart deal would've been the best deal for a while.. Oh well, I needed something to play this past weekend anyways.

I was going to get it from TRAINN once this next credit goes through, but I may use those credits for something else now and get this from Best Buy next week. I kicked myself for missing the KMart deal last week since I just tried the demo late Saturday. I'm hooked on the game.

The coupon doesn't say NEW, so I wonder if buying used is an option. I don't think GS accept coupons but it's an interesting idea.

there's no way a manufacturer created this coupon for used games since they make no money from used games.

I got the Kmart deal so this is cool but I won't need it. I did try to print the coupon though. What the hell is that couponprinter.exe supposed to be? Anyone ever hear of pdf's? Sorry, it looks slightly fishy to me.

One might interpret "Not valid on prior purchases" to also mean NOT used.
it'll be $40 next week at BB.

psyc!!!
Aw, that's a punk move. :p

Thanks OP! I might actually go get it next week if it stacks with the BB RZ promo.

It's a mass o prevent you from printing massive amounts of coupons. It generates a unique bar code for each one.
too bad it just missed the kmart $39.99 deal.
I would have grabbed it for $20.
Oh, that's just wrong...
Since each coupon has a unique code, I can't print out 2 coupons from the same pc or what?
I printed 2 from the same PC (by accident), each had a different dot-scan barcode.
Just load the page twice!

Really not sure what they are trying to prevent.
I think it's more so they can track effectiveness of the "sale"
coupon says not valid with any other offers or discounts. So it may not stack on bestbuy.
If it's an automatic discount for scanning your RZ card/ phone number, it may stack, but if it's a coupon that you have to print (like a Gamers Club coupon), it won't stack.

Kind of like those 10 or 12% Reward Zone coupons say "cannot be used on sale items," most of the time, they will still discount at the register.

Not fishy at all. a pdf file doesn't do what they want it to do.

that's how they keep the coupons legit and limited to x number per person. The coupon printer keeps tabs on cookies and ip addresses. I'm sure there's a way around it but it makes it much harder.

If anyone remembers the kmart fiasco, they should have used couponprinter.
Tempted to get the PC version for $20, gotta think about this one for a bit...
Don't do it. The PC version is f*cking terrible. Absolutely ZERO support from the developers, performance problems on machines WAY above the specs (hitching and other weird nonsense), and nobody playing online. I wasted my money on it.

In fact, I came in here thinking about buying the console version just so I can actually ENJOY the game.

I have Blur for PC and it runs real smooth and looks alot better than the console versions.

Yeah, finally a "stackable"? deal at BB. I need this very badly. Now with Transformers coming out and Red Dead, when will I have time?? Good problem, yea!!

I just checked my Reward Zone (Gamers Club) and I could not find the $10 off coupon mentioned. Maybe I am just not looking at the right place but can anyone confirm that this coupons from BB is available to RZ members?

RZ deal starts 6/20. Is it true that it will ALSO be on sale at BB for $40? I saw that in an earlier post. Does that mean $40 - $10 RZ - $20 Manu = $10 total? I doubt thats possible, but $10 Blurs would fucking awesome!!
Oh fuck just read the spoiler. fuck fuck fuck. Still, $30 is sweet.
hehe! sorry guys :D I just had to say what everyone was dying to hear..hopefully it'll come true :)
Deal was last month dude. Missed out.
It's next week. I work at BB. Dude, quit being an :booty:.

I have also had no problems with the PC version at all. I have everything maxed at a 1920x1200 resolution and the game plays without any hitches and looks beautiful. Sounds like your computer either isn't powerful enough, or you have incompatible hardware/driver problems.

I was just about to post on this e-mail I received from them. It's rare to get manufacture coupons for games. Should be interesting.
