Balls of steel

I'm not ashamed to admit that my knees got a bit weak watching this... then again, I don't like to climb on the roof of my own house.

Holy fuck. Can we get Bobby Robby Kotick this job?

The top of the World Trade Center's antenna is 1700 feet & the top floors are ~1350 so the people who were forced to jump to their deaths almost fell as far as the guy in that video...

These towers get even taller, this one built in 1963 is over 2000 feet and crazy fuckers climbed it and base jumped from it in 1989. Tallest structure ever (still standing) other than the recently completed Burj Khalifa.

i hear a lot of these guys smoke to keep calm. there was an expose about it on the news a few months ago. I remember a guy saying 'i'd rather have a partner up there whose stoned but calm than scared and panicky" something like that. They showed clips of these guys smoking in their cars before clocking in and what not.

i can watch the video no biggie but you couldn't get me to climb 20 feet up that tower no matter how much morphine you dosed me with.

dude for some crazy reason the balls of steel I was expecting involved CAG lifting it's porn restrictions and... well let's call it DPing a chick but there's only one dude.
It's not as scary with a parachute for insurance.;) If I had a job like the first guy, I'd definitely wear one to work every day.
Ya I agree, I didn't mean to imply that. My bad. Wanted to show that some workers have to climb even higher and some people are crazy enough to climb these illegally just to jump off.
my fear of heights only allowed me to watch this video for maybe 20 seconds.
I have a fear of heights too, but somehow I made it all the way to the end of the video(just about). But the part with him climbing over onto where the lighting beacon is had me close to :puke:, so I had to stop watching it.:whistle2:#

Here I am thinking he's gone as far as he's going, when the voice over announces "Only another 60 feet". fuck a bunch of that. I worked for Time Warner for 3 days -- I made it about 7 feet up the pole before saying "nuts to this".
You notice that video was shot on a nice day. I couldn't imagine having to do that job when the weather gets bad.
I seriously doubt they would let them go up there in bad weather.
