I'm guessing they thought this would go for a lot more than it did. :rofl:

It has over 3500 views but only 7 bids.
 
A gold-plated strategy guide and it went for this little? Hmm...he must have scarred the bidders off with his outgoing personality.

Well, I'm guessing the date is with the guy in the middle, from the last name Aguilera. Considering his height difference with the other two people in the pic, that makes him about 3' 9".

Gold-plated guide : $25
Date with the short dude : -$13.50

Plus, he got 9TH place in a REGIONAL tournament. I hope the guide's publishers aren't out and about annoucing that factoid.

wats sad is the katamari hat (aka lumpy ski hat) went for about 8x more than a date with some guy and a goldplated strategy guide :X....i wonder if he will include like how the date goes with pics on his site (if that is his site, didnt work for me )
 
dude... i used to live in san diego, and i went to middle/high school with this dude. i'm surprised he got that much.
 
Lessons learned from this auction---

1-- If you have a gold plated strategy guide up for auction, don't include a free date with some random dude with it or else no one will bid on it.

2-- if you offer a date, don't sell it by telling people that you are the 9th best Tekken player in Northern California(random as hell.)

3-- NEVER post pictures of yourself with ugly people that are dressed as video game characters. This goes for anywhere, not just auctions. if someone even catches you in the background of a photo with cosplayers, punch them in the face and break their camera, Axel Rose style.
