Playstation Move.Me application free with .edu email

whenever I use my .edu address, it says to put in my valid ID. I guess it being @email.sc.edu causes problems.

Try sending yourself an email but leave off the .email portion of the domain in the to address. If they have their servers setup correctly the right type of DNS lookup for the domain should still get to the email server.

If that works and that email makes it to you then just enter in the form with the .email portion removed.

Here ya go:

Move.me™ isn’t a game. It's a software server application for the PS3™ system that uses the PlayStation®Move motion controller as an input device. We want to see what innovative applications programmers can create using the PS Move controller, the PS3™ system, the PlayStation®Eye camera, and a PC. Move.me is now available for download on PlayStation®Network.

I used username.email.edu so hopefully it works...

I like that they're doing this. A lot of people will make really cool programs, and those ideas will trickle into software/games.

I use email.vccs.edu

Tried cutting off the email and using vccs.edu, and i tried cutting off the vccs and using email.edu.

Ill have to play around with it more later tonight

DiRT 3 track pack is actually .99 on the store. Price mistake, should be $5. Grab it, it's recyled from DiRT 2 anyways but worth a buck.

You should put YMMV as not every .edu address is working.
Which sucks as I'm currently in an MBA program...

Really wish they would understand that [email protected] are valid university addresses...

What's even more pathetic...they ACCEPTED the same email address to stay up-to-date with new information about Move.Me.....lame.
Apparently @my.devry.edu isnt a valid email =/
yeah doesn't look like it. i tried mine as well.

I entered my wife's college student email, and it works. Unfortunately, I just got rid of my Move stuff. If anybody actually wants this thing, please let me know!

I'd love it, don't have access to a .edu address or I'd be all over it. 's'fine if you wanna give it to someone who's been a member longer though!

hook me up with it. I'm all for it.

I signed up, but have yet to receive an e-mail. Anyone else get one right away, or should I be waiting longer?

This is the deals section. Free stuff goes in the free section. Atleast thats what logic would determine.

Its normally 100 down to 0 for certain people. Some may say that's a deal for those people.

Why do I only see you posting that people are in the wrong place? Damn.
my email is in the format @xxxxx.xxx.edu and it worked...maybe they updated it and it now accepts these emails too?
