Your set-ups!

Damn you and your nice TV. ;)

Here's mine:

:shock:=P~

Sweet tv and setup man. I don't have a camera, but right now I'm in some dorms, so I don't wouldn't want to post it anyways. Once I move out (in a few months) I will finally be able to have a real setup.

LoL well I got the TV in January for the Super Bowl. I just turned 20 btw. Oh yeah Sony was also charging $799 for the damn STAND!!! It sucked so we didn't get it. My dad built that TV stand from scratch.

is the sidekick a really big phone? i want to get one, but i don't really know how big it is.

I just moved, so my setup is pretty much an old analog TV on a nightstand. :p But, I bought a stand for my new TV (thanks to Dafoomie) and hopefully that'll be here within a week. By then, everything will be set up and I'll post pics here if the thread's still active.

Your setup is awesome. What a killer TV! And kudos on building the stand yourself, it looks just as good as any professional one I've seen. I've gotta ask about the light blue boxes on the left and right. Hiding some 'adult' material?

hehe, nice tv...btw, your basement looks stupidly familiar to one i once visited (a friend of a friend has almost the exact same set up, except without the widescreen tv).

a girly kind of set up now that i'm looking at it, not a very good pic, with the lighting you can barely see it, but that's all 3 systems down there:

roomgoodness.jpg

~edit: actually, my gba case is sitting on the stereo, and you can see the leds on my pc case on this pic, so maybe it's not so bad, lol. all my old school stuff (genesis, etc) is out of commission in the basement..somewhere..i didnt' realize how much more crap i have now then when this picture was taken..

Well my dad built the stand but thanks! Um the blue boxes are photos of my family lol... no porno for you!

tauruskatt - The lettering poster next to your lamp looks like one that I got while I was in Hawaii... hmmmm...

Living room, complete with Samsung HLM-5065W 50" DLP Widescreen HDTV, Xbox, Pioneer VSX-D811S 7.1 surround sound receiver, Toshiba SD-3800 progressive scan DVD player, and some old Sony VCR.

Games inside the footrest in the living room. Great for hiding games from would-be thieves.

Roommate's PC setup. Sony RB-30 w/ 17" Sony Flat Panel. The other PC is a 1GHz box built with spare parts and acts as a internet kiosk and media server.

My PC setup. Custom-built 2.4GHz AMD box w/ IBM P70 17" monitor and Logitech Z-560 4.1 speakers.

Setup in my room. Samsung TXN2726 SDTV, Aiwa AV-DV75 5.1 receiver, Magnavox DVD player, Satellite receiver, and Xbox. Fender Stratocaster is just visible to the left.

Close up of the goods.

Cabinet underneath TV, filled with gaming goodness, including my Xbox game collection.

While it's not part of my gaming setup, it is cool to have a half stack in your closet for when you need to rock out.
4 computers in one house? Nice! Nice setup also, that's a whole lotta electronics in one house.
Four isn't that many for a household. I have three personally, and there are four other computers in the house.

Does CAG still have the post your setup section on the menu? the one that everyone posts their pictures in...
The tv costed $4200 before taxes and the damn Moster Cables, and Monster Power Cables, Hi-def cables for the consoles and that stuff lol... and insurance was an additional $399.
damn, your mommy and daddy must love you.

They do but too bad I'm paying it myself lol.

4 is a shitload

and 7 is ridiculous..

no normal household has one person who owns 3 computers.

It's not like they're all brand new ...

First we have a server, and each of my parents have their own computers. I have one main computer (the one I'm on now) and an old P3 450 that I'm using as a file server at the moment. Lastly, me and my dad each have a laptop used for work.

well, not anymore! =P seriously though, that's not a bad idea!
note: it's kinda freaky to see my own room on someone else's monitor

OP~ actually i got it done in NY, one of my ex roomates had her name done in the carribian somewhere as well...I blocked it out in retrospect though, cause I am a meanie like that, heh.

ahhh, no, no normal household would~ but an exceptional household has more then one of these kinds of people!! Ahh, would I be so lucky!

sblymnl~"file server"...right...well, i'm sure it's doing some "serving", lol... ;)

Actually all that's on it right now is all of my Naruto stuff and my Home Movies episodes.

Nice setups, and that's a crazy tv Pootie. I would post mine, but I'm in a dorm right now and it sucks, and my tv is only 19".

Hey Kev, nice mini-fridge. Definitely a must-have for a hardcore gamer! Are those those CD-skin protector thingies on the shelf near it? If so, are they any good?

I used to have a 27" Toshiba from the late 80s and the picture did look great. Too bad the vertical hold control chip went out and the picture turned into a single bright line across the center of the tube. Now it's trash.

That TV looks uncomfortably high. Do you stand while watching it?

I totally agree... doesn't that hurt your neck? When I had my old stand for my 60" HDTV and it was like 2" higher than it is now, it hurt my neck and eyes.

Here's a pic of my setup:
http://img209.echo.cx/img209/3167/setup9ot.jpg

I know, I know...there's not much to gander at in that photo. That is part of my gaming stuff (most of my older systems and games are in another room). There's a 5.1 surround system in that room, so playing Metroid Prime with Pro Logic II is always fun. I also managed to squeeze in my guitars and amp for your viewing pleasure  . I look forward to seeing the rest of your setups, fellow CAGs!

edit: made a link to pic so it doesn't take up the whole screen.

my dads got the same tv, cabinet combo
and i suggest you get a ibanez, as squiers are doomed to fail from the beginning, nice amp though, its gotta be worth at least 200 more than the guitar

I barely play my Squier any more (it was my second guitar, and I got it about 5 years ago), I mainly use my Les Paul which is hidden away near the right of the picture :).

Nice.
A little bump. Just so it's not worthless, I put up a shelf today. The studs in the wall were close together, so the runners had to be that close, but the shelves are just fine, surprisingly. These are all my Criterions, box sets and TV sets. Yes, I am quite insane. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v196/modium/P1010017.jpg
If I may where did you get those shelves. I have been looking at media stands, However I now feel that I need some shelves. Those look really nice.
