What are your other controllers made out of?

Concrete, steel, glass, wood, all the usual stuff...

Yes. You have to do it at the CS counter and not the register.

great controller. bought a 360 one when best buy had it on sale for 20 just to have an extra controller but it ended up replacing my wireless microsoft one. dpad is as good if not better than the standard ms one and yea, it just has a great feel to it. i also haven't had any problems using this for any steam games that support the 360 controller for windows. played a handful of games on PC from Bastion to Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and they've all fully supported the controller.

^agreed. Got a 360 one when BB had them on sale. Buttons and thumbstick are just as good if not better than the a regular controller. Very solid and responsive. It does have a great feel to it.

Also, this works for PC. I know me and someone else was wondering about that.

Thanks so much for your thoughts on this controller, everyone. I really like using my wireless adapter and Xbox 360 pad, but since I sit so close to my gaming laptop it's almost not that big of an advantage to be wireless. Plus, this seems to have a functional d-pad.

To echo everyone's sentiments, I find it incredible that the stock 360 pad is generally so great, with the exception of that terrible d-pad.

I once had an incident where Toys R Us refused to price match their own website. Oddly, the price shown on my phone differed from the one their manager pulled up in-store. They went so far as to accuse me of doctoring a web page to save $20 on a toy wagon. I still don't know why the prices differed, but TRU lost my business due to their terrible customer service.

TRU has actually gone back & forth a few times in the past year or so on this policy. But as of now, they will PM as long as it doesn't say anything about 'online only.'

And it doesn't necessarily have to be at the customer service counter, but that is a convenient place since there is a computer there. But if you mention it to whoever is running electronics, they should be able to look it up themselves & honor the price.

Might pick this up and save it as a collectible, along with a sealed copy of Arkham City in the vanilla, maybe along with the G1 steelbook also.

That would be a nice little setup imo.

Thanks OP and everyone giving it good reviews. Will check after work and hope to pick one up. Been looking for a wired controller for PC.
Freakin' thing's plastic!! WTFBBQSAUCE!
Plastic? No thanks, I prefer my controllers to be made out of adamantium.

Sweet! Picked up 3 of these today. One for each of my 2 friends who have birthdays in the next 2 weeks, and one for myself. I like the feel of it. Buttons are very responsive. LED Color changing is cool. Thanks OP!!
man i'm tempted to pick one up even though i have no immediate need for one
Same here. I even bought Arkham City on PS3. I'd feel like such a phony.

My brother picked up one of these. It feels nice, slightly cheap feeling material, but the controller overall felt solid.

Only issue we had was that after like a day or two, the right trigger would just randomly trigger which was super annoying.
I'd love a controller make out of finished wood. That doesn't sound right at all, but you know what I mean, you pervs.
Honestly, someone would have to be reaching pretty hard to try and get a double entendre out of that.

With good reason...

Also, I second the desire for a polished wood controller, sounds like pure class.

my ex has one of these but with less buttons and it's apparently waterproof...and it's pink.

Was that a preorder bonus with the PS3 version of Saints Row 3?

her "personal" controller didn't come with a preorder, but I'd imagine if it was saint's row 3 it would have been electric purple.
