I know most stores are going to start discounting their easter candy today (the day after easter) but I was wondering if anybody knew where and when the best deals are? Are they today or am I going to have better prices (but a worse selection) later this week?
From past experience, Target usually has a good selection of clearanced holiday candy.
true...I was There earlier

CVS marks down candy pretty quick. Last year I got a handful of Reese Easter Eggs (six-packs) for 75% off just a few days after. I plan to run in there tomorrow to see what they have left and how much it's marked down.

Target had everything at 30% off today so I didn't pick anything up.
Wal-Mart had everything down to 50% off already though!

Me too. Most of the stuff I got was reduced 30% off. Good enough for me! Also, here's a different deal I came across: Cocoa Krispies include a coupon on the box for free M&M's when you buy two big boxes. Got those and a box of Crispix, those three together were on sale for $8 total. Got my M&M's free at the register. If you think this post is weird, it is. Free M&M's are cool, but it's not the best mix if it's going to be for a kid. Buy chocolate cereal and get candy!
I haven't bought cereal in a long time and I miss Cocoa Krispies.

Yup

Target is the most expensive right now, as they only have everything 30% off original price, honestly the candy was cheaper before easter if you used coupons and combined with sales. I got robin's eggs for 1.50 a large bag before easter, and they cost more at Target yesterday!

Target sucks for clearance candy, at least where I live. Most of the good bags stay at 30% for the longest time, then you get the left overs at 50%.
