Your post title is deceptive. You don't get $50 off your next purchase, it's $10 off your next purchase and it can be used up to five times. Not a good deal by any stretch.

That's actually how Origin states it in the email they sent out. But I do agree, it is deceptive.
 
If someone was going to buy it anyway why not and also you get the dlc for the game 79.99

Because places like Green Man Gaming are selling the Limited Edition (with the DLC) for $48.

No. But why does it matter? Everyone will need to activate this through stupid Origin anyway. Just buy it from GMG and they'll give you the activation code for Origin.
 
It isn't a good deal. These discounts have the same restrictions and are the same coupons given out to people to Origin on their birthdays (hint if you want a code make a fake account on another email and set the birthday for like 2-3 days after the day you are registering it).

Basically, you can only use it on purchase of $20 or more, can't use it on virtual currency and can't use it on most 3rd party vendors (from my experience). Read the fine print when you click on it.
