Walmart's weekly ad shows OZ for $19.96, add the $7.00 coupon and it brings your total down to $12.96 plus tax.  I stopped @ my Walmart, picked up the ad and took it to BestBuy to PM. Walmart's in-store display did not have the $19.96 price posted for any BD version of OZ.

When you redeem your digital copy/DMR code you are given the option to purchase the 3D disc for $5.99.  There is no shipping charge and I wasn't charged tax on this either.

Possibly YMMV

Your code also gives you $8 Movie Money for The Lone Ranger

Walmart.com shows the BD + DC version as $22.99, the BD + DVD + DC version as $27.99.  It's the DVD version that's $19.99.

Same goes for Target.com.

If they check Walmart.com for verification or if you don't go in with the ad, you're likely only going to get it for $15.98 for the BD + DC version or $20.99 for BD + DVD + DC.

Also the coupon is only good until 06/14/13 and starts today.   Coupon link:

I'm aware that Walmart.com doesn't have the prices mentioned but the ad clearly shows the BD+DVD+DC version @ $19.96 and the DVD @ $16.96. Might not be national, check your local ad here http://www.walmart.com/ecircular/ca_ecircularverifier.gsp

Depending on the capabilities of your phone you could also pull up the ad and get your price match that way.

I had the ad bookmarked on my phone but figured I might get less hassle with the paper ad.

Too bad it wont ring up $19.96. I might try to bring in the ad and coupon to a 24 hour walmart sometime in the middle of the night when I won't have to wait 15 to 20 minutes in line to checkout. Do you think anyone will be at walmart late at night who will know how to do a pricematch+coupon?

Whenever I've tried a pricematch+coupon at Best Buy, I get turned down because the employee says it's "Double Dipping." Sometimes I run into a nice employee though and will pricematch whatever.

Oz rang up as $19.96 (BR/DVD/DC) - after $7 coupon, $12.96 -  this morning at my Wal-Mart and that's not what the shelf tag said...  might be worth a try for those near a WM and interested.

This sounds pretty good as I was going to pick up the 3D version tomorrow. Where does the transaction take place exactly for the 3D version? Also, does anyone know if it comes in a case? Or just a small paper slip?

Disney really did a poor job not providing a full combo for this release.

That's a surprise, guess I'll have to run by WM and see if that's the case for me as well. Would be easiest with WM since they would just scan the coupon and go on with the transaction. BB has to hit F6 and then do Manufacturer Coupon, put in the amount and then deal with it that way.

If it was a BB coupon, then it's double dipping. Since it's a manufacturer coupon and they get reimbursed for its use, there's no reason why they can't do PM + manufacturer coupon.

The purchase is handled on the DMR site. I'm assuming it might come in a paper sleeve, but really I have no idea.

Hopefully they learned their lesson on this one. Being able to redeem the DC through Vudu is a big step up though. Just a heads up that the 3D only version is missing all the special features.

Just came back from WM and OZ rang up as $19.96 (BR/DVD/DC) and $12.96 after coupon. I scanned the others and they showed up as the price on the sticker display. I wonder if this is some kind of glich? Cuz the price sticker for the (BR/DVD/DC) was $29.96 but scanned at $19.96. Anyways thanks OP.

On BR.com, I read a post that all the extras were accessible through the digital copy website, so if you get the 3D version, you may still have access to the extras (via DC). I can't confirm that though.

I wish BB employees knew their policies as well as us CAGs. :)

It's not a glitch, it seems like the people who work at walmart at too lazy to mark cheaper prices on their stuff.  Happened with Les Mis, too, back in March.  BTW, I bought oz from wally world today, and it was $19.96 before my coupon, too.

lol... I don't think I've ever seen a correct price on a new release at Wal-Mart, you would think they want to move the merchandise.

Here is a link to the Wal-Mart ad

Before my trip to Target in the morning I picked this up along with some Brachs Bridge Mix for the wife.

If you really want to push it look at this

It's through the mobile site with a $16.96 price tag but has the blu-ray, dvd, digital copy pictured.

It was marked correctly at my Walmart yesterday as 19.96 and the coupon worked just fine.  Oddly the blu-ray by itself cost more.

Well, every time I step into a Walmart I regret it and today was no different.  Went to two different stores and the first one told me they never got that version and the second said they were sold out.  Either my district has a retarded manager or there's something fishy going on.  They had probably a hundred copies of everything else but magically the BD+DVD is sold out/missing?  Yeah, gonna have to call bullshit after only one day of this being out.

I'll wait for a reasonable sale from Disney and will not be going back to Walmart again unless they're giving money away.

Sold out at my store as well on Tuesday. At least I got the weekly ad and can attempt a pricematch+coupon at Best Buy.

I got to my local Wal-Mart at 7:30 AM EST on Tuesday and they had exactly four copies of the BR+DVD+DC version.  I'm not saying there weren't others in the back, but that was all on the shelf and being put out, as I looked for one with a better condition slipcover.  So it's possible they under-ordered that specific version (given there are 3 BR versions and maybe a DVD only version).

My Wal-Mart was sold out this morning at 6:00am (stopped on my way to work) They had 3 copies of the 3D version so I bought 1 with the Scott tissue coupon. Grabbed the Wally ad while I was there to try at Best Buy later and succeeded getting it there for 8.86 incl tax after the price match, Scott tissue $7.00 coupon and a $5 reward cert.

Think I'll keep both

Well, if each store only ordered 0-4 copies of that version, then I can understand why they didn't have it now.

So you guys that are grabbing the ad, does it really have the $20 price listing for the BD+DVD version?  It was my understanding that it was listed for $28 so trying to get a PM would be pointless.  If that's the case then I'd certainly try to get a PM at BB tomorrow before the coupon expires.

Well I'll be damned, just checked online and there it is for $20 in the ad.  Guess I'll stop by tomorrow ha.

Sweet catch O.P. Ended up getting Bestbuy to price match and use coupon, my kid is grateful!

I think Wal-Mart made a mistake in the ad and realized it later, only to pull them from the shelves. My local stores all showed them in stock but claimed in the store to be sold out. They had bunches of every other copy of O.Z. including, surprisingly, the 3d version.

I've got the ad somewhere around here, you can check online and it should pop up too. I've been reading that stores have been mysteriously running out with stock still available. I'm glad I went early in the morning, good luck to the rest of you.

I found a copy today, they had about 6, after checking each day since release. So maybe other stores are restocking. I grabbed a flyer earlier in the week should I have had to price match. The flyer I have lists the combo pack on page 1 and clearly states $19.96.

Now if they could accept the manufacturer's coupon without question. The cashier and manager both read the coupon and then the manager walked away with the movie and coupon. Five minutes later, the manager returned, said nothing and scanned the coupon. I've had been questioned before with other Disney Blu Ray coupons at Wal Mart.

Also I believe this is the last day to use the coupon.

I hit a local WalMart last night and found a copy as well. They had 4 copies and they were not on the endcap with the BD only and DVD only versions. It was next to the 3D around the corner from the encap with the other versions. It rang up as $19.96 and the cashier stared at the coupon for a while, flipping it over repeatedly (back is blank paper) before I said "usually if you scan the coupon it will work." She then muttered that it was good for the combo pack and stared a the copy I had and finally scanned it. I have found that if I print the coupon with a color laser printer it is accepted easier (this was B&W). I think for some it seems more official if it is in glossy color.

I logged in the the DMR site, registered the disc and ordered the 3D version as well. I may have missed it, but registering this movie also gets you a Hollywood Movie Money voucher for The Lone Ranger. Usually these are good for either any movie from the same studio or any movie so this is a solid deal overall. Unfortunately, I believe the Lone Ranger voucher expires before Monsters University comes out.

Did anyone actually get a shipping notice for the 3D disc? I placed the order on the 11th and it still says "Pending" as the status. Meanwhile, I used points to buy the Secretariat Blu-ray a few minutes prior to that and got a shipping notice that same day.

BB FTW!  Got a PM and used my coupon, plus the 13 RZ points to boot.  Didn't realize this also comes with a free ticket to Lone Ranger, so in essence I only paid $5 for this since I was going to see that movie anyway.

Screw Walmart; try to get a PM at BB if you can guys.

Shipping is 2-4 weeks or sooner is what my confirmation page said.

Thanks for the heads up.  Walmart near me was suspiciously out of stock, so I took a print out of the web ad and the $7 coupon and got a PM at Best Buy.  Ordered the 3D too!

I managed to find one today at an out of the way walmart. On Tuesday night they had 18 copies left when an employee checked the inventory for me at another store. Today they only had 3 and they were not out on the new release endcap. They were in another new release section towards the back of the bluray section.

Thanks op. I'll wait for my 3d version to rewatch and will probably sell the bluray and DVD if the special features aren't great.

This older out of the way walmart also still had at least 100 of those acdc rockband games out on the shelf. I took one of the game/shirt/DVD bundles off their hands for $10. Required manager override.

I redbox'd Oz last week, and I gotta say it was really, really good.  It answered all of the questions that I never really cared enough to ask about the original movie, yet somehow as the answers naturally flowed out, I found myself saying "oh, so that's why that was that!" more times than M. Night Shamalamadingdong did in all of his movies combined.

Don't forget that the DMR code gives $7.50 towards the purchase of a ticket to Lone Ranger, which came out yesterday

Unfortunately, it does not. Just redeemed it on a different DMR account than the combo pack and I did not get the movie tix offer, only the 50pt 3D upgrade.

How did you guys get your tracking numbers?  According to the site, mine shipped out on the 26th, but they have no tracking number listed and i didn't get any email with my number or even an email letting me know the disc shipped.

Nope. No tracking number here, though my guess is that it's coming USPS First Class, since it's just the disc in a paper sleeve. Certainly light enough to go USPS FC, though could go USPS Media Mail as well.

Very unlikely to get a tracking number for a shipment like that. I would say that if it shipped on the 26th and you don't have it yet, I would consider it MIA and would call them to get a replacement shipped out. USPS considers mail lost if it's 14 mailing days since it's dropped in the mail and it's pretty close to that as of today (10 mailing days so far).
