Batman Arkham City GOTY $9.99 (360/PS3) Best Buy

Nice find.  I didn't enjoy the story as much as the one in Arkham Asylum but enjoyed pretty much everything else.

 
360 or PS3?

Tempted to get this, as I have the Nightwing and Robin DLC, but never got the alternate costumes or Harley Quinn's revenge... but will I ever really play it? Hmm.

 
I'd be all over this if I didn't already have the DLC on my hard drive from owning it previously (and it works with the vanilla version of this game).  Great price for a solid game.

 
I'm a weirdo in that I wanted the vanilla version because the cover on this is just so ugly, but fuck it, buying this with the $10 sorry code Best Buy sent me makes this free and I can't pass up free.

Really? that sucks. I have a vanilla save file and was going to continue my journey toward the platinum with this version. It would suck if I had to start from scratch. Ugh, probably going to cancel now.

 
Man, I bought a :360: copy for ~$13 from AWD in Like New condition more than a month ago and have yet to play it (well, technically re-play it since I got the platinum in the :ps3: vanilla AC already). :wall: I'm tempted to just buy a new copy from BBY and trade the AWD copy in to GS, but then I'd be out $3... :whistle2:k

this has the catwoman dlc and stuff right? still havent played my vanilla ps3 copy. i had some extra costumes i got from some soda promotion too. are those included too?

After taking another look at the AWD copy I bought, it looks like it's in better condition than I remembered, so it'd be pointless to buy another copy. Awesome deal regardless! :D

 
Ordered one for PS3, thanks OP!

I had ordered this for $15 on Amazon with Far Cry 3 (when it was on sale for $20). Hadn't shipped yet, but couldn't get a price match. Thought about it, and decided I can wait on Far Cry 3. Cancelled the AMZ order and went with this cheaper route. ;)

On PS3, all DLC (including costumes) are on the disc. The only thing that comes as a code is the movie. When you put the disc in, it will first install all DLC. Also, some of the DLC do not become active until you have finished the game (or so I've heard)...so heads-up on that.

thanks. is it the same for the 360?

maybe ill play the vanilla ps3 version first since i opened it for some reason, then do this version for the 2nd playthrough with the extras

You can still return/rebuy if under 30 days.
Also, silver can be achieved for just $77.35 by purchasing 13 $200 pre-paid visas. Use them to pay your reg. bills monthly & your only out the fees per card but have all the perks of silver.

BB is great for batman games lol the vanilla was $10 via @gamer coupon now this.

As I mentioned before, PS3 vanilla saves are NOT compatible with the GOTY edition but 360 vanilla saves are. I recommend just grabbing the GOTY edition if you don't have it already since there's achievements/trophies for beating it twice anyways. The DLC is on disk for both consoles. Same disk install for PS3 and a separate disk to install for 360. Check out my GOTY thread in my sig. I update when I can, but I've been meaning to wikify it since I'm always so busy.

 
Bought a used copy from ghastings it came new. Went a rented it from gstop beat it that night (had previous progress) didnt enjoy it as much as I remembered. I think I'll wait and buy it used cheaper but it is tempting.

Great price for this.  I paid $60 at release (got in on the Amazon CE pricing error) and dont regret it at all.  $10 is a STEAL for this "10 out of 10" game!

This god awful cover art still bothers me.  Were they trying to make this a newspaper ad?  Still a great deal though!

The Catwoman DLC comes with all new copies, was their version of the online pass.

Apparently the DLC is all on disc but some versions apparently came with a downloadable movie and that's what expired.

Ach. I still have a vanilla cooy sealed from the March 2012 @gamer madness. Wonder if I should upgrade? Is the Harley DLC any good?
