Check out your local Bestbuy for Wii U Pro Controller (White Only) $21.99.   Black version still $50-ish.  I picked it up $25 few month ago now it drop down $22.  It's good deal if you plan getting Wii U soon :)

This sounds very YMMV though I'd love to pick up a second Pro controller for when Smash hits. I've already got a black one so a white one to complete the set would be great

 
ah its not online anymore, i guess it makes sense, white wii u is clearance, so is the white pro controller,  ill have to check this out soon

 
Thanks for the heads up. I did a search for in store clearance around me and my parents house and found that most of the Best Buys have them clearanced for different prices. I found them for $39.99, 37.99, 32.99, 25.99, and 22.99, marked as "In Store Only." One had PSVita 4GB memory cards for $4.99 too.
 
I got one from Amazon when they matched the $25 price from Best Buy.  We've gotten a lot of use out of it so far on both Tank Tank Tank and Pikmin 3.

 
too much of a pain to drive and check for YMMV stuff, but definitely good price. would get one more instantly if I can buy online.

edit: well checked, the closest BB to me that even show the white pro controller in stock  is 12miles away with LA traffic... not worth the trouble even if it is marked at that price.  

 
If you can give a SKU Masterkyo for the White Pro controller, you can go into the store an ask to order one. It is a clearance item, depending on how many are left in the bestbuy warehouse, you can have it shipped to the store.

Getting better. It's been patched into SMBU, and Rayman Legends supports it. I like the controller ALOT. Great feel and the battery life is astounding. I would imagine most WiiU games from here out will support it as it is more common now. I hear Wonderful 101 is much better using the Pro Controller.

It works for WiiU Virtual Console games, but not for Wii Virtual Console games since obviously the Wii side of the WiiU doesn't know what to do with it (or the screen controller). Not sure about other eShop games though, I only have Trine 2, but it doesn't support it (it really wouldn't work for it anyways, Trine 2 really needs the screen).

One thing to keep in mind is most WiiU exclusive games try and have a hook using the screen, so unless it is just a multi-console port you lose that using the Pro Controller. Support will vary depending on how well the game is integrated into the second screen.

 
I love the Pro Controller, pretty much all games support the Pro Controller. Id rather not use the gamepad just because I dont want to risk damaging it. If i damage a pro controller I could always get another.

I have the same feelings. My oldest son is basically the only one other than me that is allowed to use the screen pad. I ended up having to get my own 360 controller (that only I use) because his friends that come over to play Minecraft grind the analog sticks so much they all drift now. Nintendo analog sticks are a bit more sturdy in this respect, but I'm not taking any chances. I still think it would have been wise for them to have made the sticks replaceable somehow.

 
I'm waiting on Pro Controller Support on Disney Infinity at the moment. Is this good to jump on or wait it out for a better sale price? I guess I'm trying to say does it normally go lower? 

 
Thanks OP. Brick NJ has them listed at $35 on the shelf, but online clearance for the store listed them at $25, which is what mine rang up as. Still a few left there.

 
Was in BB today and picked one up for $20.99. Black model was right next to it for $49.99...lol. They had several other Wii U items on clearance. Not a good sign.

 
If only it was Black... All my Wii Controllers are black! D: To have the one White one would be unfitting.. Granted 2 controllers for the price of 1 does sound good.. Considering I will probably be playing Smash 4 Multiplayer all the time extra controllers wouldn't hurt...

The nerf armor is really nice. Sit pretty flat and make holding it much more comfortable for me.

a little color difference for various controller is nice when dealing with mulitiples. not like you will always be using player 2 so you can stash it away most of the time.

 
I went ahead and went to the store today when I had a break from work. Ended up picking two up for 21.99 a piece. Was very excited, didn't think I would actually be able to get in on such a good deal like this. I just moved into my own house and have lots of friends over, so this makes the Wii U even more attractive now that I can support 5 people playing at once with my Wii + Wands. Thanks OP!

Oh, there were also plenty of other controllers left too. Was best buy in Countryside, IL if anyone is from around there. I'm guessing these won't last too long...

There's a BB around me that has them at $19.99.  Really want to take advantage but there's no real reason for me to have more than 1 Pro Controller...ugh.

Oh it hurts! Pikmin 3, the funnest and most amazing game I've played in years, listed as equals among the likes of Tank Tank Tank, the absolute worst game I've played in years lol

It's a $50 controller. You be the judge. Do you think $50 controllers normally sell for LOWER than $20? I'll say this- I bought my 1st pro controller full MSRP. I wanted a second, but wanted to get a great deal for it. I waited half a year to scoop it on a NewEgg FLASH sale for $34.99 tax-free with free shipping. And I STILL feel like that was a steal. Granted, it was a black one, but the 2 are identical in all but color. The white one is still the same amazing, ergonomic, extremely well designed controller with primo d-pad and analogues.

 
These things hold value regardless. The moment Mario Kart and Smash Bros comes out people will be flocking to get Pro Controller and will be paying full retail for $49.99.

 
The reason the price is low is because nintendo is no longer making white Wii U's.   They discontinued the original white bundle and only sell the black deluxe bundles now.   The controller will be worth as much as a black one (or more) once these sell out.

Is there a way to check if nearby stores have it in stock?   I'll be picking up wonderful 101 this weekend and I'd love to have some wii u pros for multiplayer on that and smash bros next year.  

I wish I could get some shipped to me,  I could see myself buying 3-4 of these.

 
FYI.  If instore price is $21.99 or less & OOS  you can go to customer service desk ask the customer service desk they able to order for you.  As long as the item still available online :)

 
i dont see them online for that price though,  i guess its worth a try though,  i just dont live near a best buy anymoree

Meh - those are the last 2 Wii U games I've played. I actually thought TTT was pretty good - my son and I played it coop and it is great that we both got full-screen views (one on TV, one on gamepad). We had fun with it - the only problem with it (and the reason we stopped playing) was all the repetition of levels in order to unlock later stages.

Yeah thats the confusing thing, the color of a console is one thing, but the color of controller is another. These things are not getting phased out, Bestbuy might have just gotten the wrong memo, who knows. I know the White Wii Remote plus also is no longer being sold for whatever reason.

Whomp whomp. All stores in my area seem to just have it in-store at the regular $50. Hopefully they'll drop to this clearance price someday.

 
I would do my local best buy but apparently they have the white wii u controller clearanced at $40 where the website is offering it for $35. I think I'll pass on this one and wait for a better deal hopefully by black friday.

 
mine in md woodmore had them for 22.99 price said 22.99 web was showing 34.99   I picked one up they had 2 white ones left.

I picked up the last two dust-covered  :whistle2:( white controllers at the Northtown Mall, MN location for $19.99 a pop, although it was actually $15 total since that's what I paid for the flips to get the $43 BB giftcard.  I had to drive up to the north Blaine, MN location for my third; it was priced at $22.99.  There are still two left at that location for any Twin Cities CAGs.

Thanks OP!  All set up for Mario Kart and Smash U next year. :D

 
The West Simsbury CT Best Buy has them available for $22 but I'm not willing to drive the thirty minutes to get there.

Ah well, maybe next time.

Thanks for this link. The Nerf Armor (for the Wii U gamepad) is $11.99 here. Has anyone been getting that cheaper? I just have a feeling I can wait that out.

You guys with your $19.99 :roll:. I got one of these from Amazon for $25 a few months ago but I'd get another for $20. Not $39...

I looked at a few other stores. One didn't have it at all (but did have the Playstation Move navigation controller for $12 - might be something people are looking for, Or maybe not ;)). And another did have it for $24.99 so I'll keep an eye on that store.

Seems like stores are in the process of marking them down, the store closest to me went from $34.99 to $21.99 in the last day.

 
Thanks soxxx, I looked up the price of the controller and it seems only one store in Manhattan has it for $40. I can't leave the city to search for $25, considering the next store is 22 miles away. If I were desperate for one, looks like I'll have to check next week.

 
The store in Williston VT has them for $22.99 and they had at least 15-20 in the main area and I think I saw some in the overstock area.  At first I felt lucky that I found two but one looked like someone had tired to open it to look inside.  Then I rounded the corner and there was a whole pile of them.  The first one I picked up looked like it had about a years worth of dust on the box top.
