Wow $4.99?! Cause if it $15 off, the retail price on minecraft and the platnuim hits games are $19.99 look like I'm picking up minecraft finally then if that the case

LOL, bestbuy does not even have xbox 360 listing for splinter cell blacklist on their website anymore. and they confirmed they sold all their copies/stock of it on xbox 360

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this particular title has been phased out of our inventory. Since none of our fulfillment warehouses currently have it in stock and we do not expect to receive any additional shipments, its product page has been removed from BestBuy.com. Some stores may still have isolated copies in stock though, so you may wish to speak with a gaming specialist at your preferred location to see if they can track one down in your area.

see I hate when they do that they should never pull the page unless 90% of the physical store locations have none either cause then you can't even use the inventory checker online to find a local copy
 
Other than BF, has the 360 Holiday Bundle been cheaper?  Thinking of picking it up since the spring bundle doesn't appeal to me as much...

It`s a major pain with high demand sale items including @gamer coupon stacks makes people not want to try looking and then 2-3 weeks later there`s several in stock at the 1st store you`d goto.

Those $15 games aren't even a good deal. And how the hell is Splinter Cell: Blacklist $25? I'm pretty sure I have been seeing that game for $20 lately.

It should. Best Buy isn't really at a loss with these coupons, since they're manufacturer coupons. They send them off and are reimbursed for them.

It happens, sometimes you get another game that takes you away for a while like skyrim or you do a speed run like people are planning with wolfenstein. If I get a game cheap to play & there`s a crazy trade in offer it`s gone, I`ll rebuy at a lower price later.

I could be wrong but I think he probably has gcu which mean the cost was $48 then add the $20 preorder bonus and the $40 trade in bonus is probably the options he talking about. So if he did trade it in then it like he paid $48 for it yet got $60 back or $64 after 10% gcu trade in bonus for it
 
It was $48 w/$20 credit, play n traded quickly for $40ish & I believe BB dropped the price w/i 2 weeks too.
You can play n trade most titles at BB for under $10 $48 day 1 $38-$44 trade in, just float the same credit over & over. If the game comes with credit or BB drops the price even better.

$100-$150 should cover most people for the entire using this system depending on the total number of games they buy, how fast they trade, how many come with credit & rz pts/elite plus...
 
If I made a deal post titled "SouthPark Free @ Bestbuy" then yes but it`s a regular quote to see in the bestbuy threads. If you spend $48+ tax in BB credit on Tues. for a game & trade that game back to BB for $44 on Friday the net result is $4+ tax or free to $10. The entire Wolfenstein $20 pre-order thread is based upon that logic.
 
I did this a lot when X1 released. Bought a ton of games at BestBuy using their GCU and other specific promos including, $10 preorder certs per game and $25 certs for buying 3 games within the specified time period. I did this knowing full well that there were probably a few games that would get traded back, but because of all of the discounts and credits I received, I ended up getting the game rentals for "free". Now when I say free, it wasn't free. I had to use money to get the games, but in the end I ended up getting more money back in store credit for trade-ins. Store credit is just like cash-money to me since I buy practically all my games at BestBuy as it is. It depends on how you view the "deals", but it allows me to purchase WAY more games than I would ever think of doing without breaking the bank.

 
It`s not even a "new" thing smart CAG`s weren`t paying for games for months with the old pm policy. You had people who guns a blazing for AMZ $60 tax free or $60 w/$10 credit tax free. Meanwhile, you get the game from BB for $60+ tax + $20 credit & 60 days to pm which become $40 or less quite often. You buy 2 games doing that for $80 w/$40 credit, trade 1 of the games in for those incredible TIV`s & that trade in + $40 credit would last for a long while. You wouldn`t even need to invest new money unless you purchased a LE/CE.

Going back to the 5 for $100 deal you`d regularly see people posting "BB paid me to play___", now it`s more "cheap/free" rentals" but the same principal.
 
I don't see it posted here but any who are interested for this week at Best Buy if you buy Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty you get Heart of the Swarm free.  Have not seen much of a price drop on Heart of the Swarm so its like you get both for $20 and if you have Wings of Liberty you can probably sell it for 15-20.

Edit: Also if you have GCU you get 20% off since it is a physical copy so I paid $34 after tax.  $17 a game isnt bad.

Yeah the GCU has been pretty sweet even after the change. Got DS4s cheap when bought with 2 other games that stacked on the GCU.
