MODS: I don't believe this should be in the clearance thread since this is an obvious pricing glitch.
Target in Amarillo, Texas.  Employee said a bunch of 3DS games went clearance by mistake and were repriced at $11.98 this week.  Manager of this store decided to go ahead and sell them at this price.  From the tags i saw it is all first party and popular titles for some reason.

Zelda, Fire Emblem, Mario Titles, Bravely Default had 11.98 tags.  I took a few pics of the tags and my receipt for you.  Most title were sold out but I was able to pick a few games up.  The guy working electronics said employees snatched most of these up.  And that they were slowly being corrected.  Alot of the affected titles were covered with blank stickers.

Good luck if you decide to price match, if you have success with price matches please share below.

Huh, this happened to someone else's target the other day...This makes me want to check my target out tomorrow.

Hmm, would buy so many not even for flips too
I bought everything they had left that was ringing up at this price. Keeping what I didn't have and the rest for x-mas presents. For once I'm not flipping one of these, lol. I'm sure there was more in the back employees were holding but oh well, they deserve a deal at that wage.

A Target opens up tomorrow literally 5 minutes away from me. Going to check it out there. Hope the PM goes fine. Thanks, OP!

How widespread is this "error?" I thought someone posted this earlier this week and assumed it was just clearance
Might be storewide? It has been reported in Texas and Mississippi so far. Maybe just in the south? We need more people to check.

edit- I have all the tags saved, I'll give BB a shot at a pm.

I went by both my targets today, they both had tags of the regular price of 30 dollars or something, is it possible that ringing it up will bring up the $11 price?

During my target rounds the last couple days I didn't see none these prices at any the targets. I think it was a mistake that most stores had the common sense to know weren't the right price and some stores just weren't as smart. And since tonight Saturday and tomorrow a new sale week any incorrect tags would probably be replaced by store opening tomorrow anyhow

I think certain people assumed that but even when it's not widespread we've seen these sorts of mistakes quite frequently with target. The only one that was truly national that I can think of recently was when Knack was tagged $40 a couple days before the PS4 came out during that B2G1.

you forgot the Xbox one headset for $30 down from $100 before it was even supposed to be available for sale

That's about all Yoshi's New Island is worth. I bought it at launch and was extremely disappointed with it. The music alone was pretty bad.

That's what I'm wondering too, because I was at Target yesterday, and all these games were still regularly priced on the shelves.

I went to 3 targets Saturday with the pic of Bravely Default and Fire Emblem from earlier this week. The first one let me price match 5 copies of Bravely Default and 1 copy of Fire Emblem. The other 2 were NOT having it. Gave me whole lecture on why Target can't price match Target...

Damn any more bro lol

To the people that are checking these out at their local store: are you just looking at price tags or actually scanning the games out to see if it rings at that price,

I picked up Bravely Default last night.  It rang up $40.  The guy in electronics said to take it up front and they matched it.

Two targets I checked were full price. The third were tagged full price but when I checked the dcpi in the scanner thr y said item not found or not on file. Could that mean they will be clearanced this week?

Glad thy stopped you. Do you need 5 copies? Gees

I agree. I loathe flippers and resellers. get a real job!
I think your time would be better spent loathing murderers and rapist. How about you quit assuming while you're at it as well. I bought them to give away as prizes at my gaming tournament. Sheesh.

When does this imaginary Twister tournament begin? I'm good at bending my mind if I try hard enough.

As much as your naked twister extravaganza sounds like oodles of fun, it's a Marvel vs Capcom 2 tournament. Good luck with getting bent
Matches against the computer don't count, bro. You'd probably just end up keeping them for yourself, which you're probably going to do anyway. I'd never imagine Bravely Default to be a prize for a fighting game tournament of all things either.

To be fair, target had deals with selling snacks/soda with video games. At least this is video game related.

So it's hard for you to comprehend someone giving away video games... at a video game tournament? Smh, you sound butt hurt lol.
