New Trailer!

Yep...no doubt the Enterprise is destroyed.  Looks like there is a new type of Starbase and new warp speed effect.

It still looks to me like a Kirk rescues his crew type of movie.

So the rumors of seeing an NX type class ship in the movie is true. 

The effects look amazing though.  Might be done well in 3d.

Less Chekov hmmm......

waiting for IGN to do a rewind on this.

The irony in making Fast and Furious jokes last month. . .

I can only imagine he thought the car was in park and realizing his mistake as it started to roll, tried to stop it with his body. Pretty intense way to go.

 
So Sulu is gay in JJverse...ugh. Way to reinforce stereotypes Lin. I thought you'd be better than that especially since Takei had mentioned numerous times to you that Sulu should be straight. The only way I'll accept it is if Kumar is his husband. MAKE IT SO.
