is it simple to have a tooth removed?

If you have a dental school near you, they have a dental clinic Inside and they usually charge a lot less than regular community dentists . Your appointments may take longer and you will receive care from dentists in training but you will have big savings! Liscensed dentists supervise all work so it's not like these are kid with drills working on your mouth

well i had a very very  bad  dental thing when i was little ... broke off a  baby tooth and had to get it grinded all the way down to the gums and  something like a crown put on it without  being numbed  (this was like 1983 or so )   i been back but havent had any  MAJOR work done in 20 years i should say..

i do have insurance..

if i go in network  they pay all besides 30%

if i go out of network  they pay all besides  30%  but i have to pay anything over  270

So   in network  30%  flat

Out    30%  + anything over  270 they charge  (so if  300) it would be  30%  + 30 bucks

been very luck with no cavities   for the past 20 yeas    went in for basic work but nothing major like fillings or  pullings... Just  wonder when i go over  if they go

Crown  or pulled  (guessing pulling will be eaiser and less pain)

but didnt know if i should ask for an oral surgon instead of a normal dentist  or  they pick themself

You're likely looking at a root canal and crown...so probably like $1,200+ to get it fixed (after insurance). If the tooth isn't worth that to you, get it pulled. Most dentists won't have a problem pulling it themselves. Nothing about it will be pleasant, but they'll numb you and do what needs to be done. Pulling it will probably cost $75-100. Obviously, a huge difference in cost...so it really boils down to how much you care about having a tooth there.

Or, like others have said...you can go to a dental school or dental clinic for a reduced rate. But like with most things in life, you usually get what you pay for.
