Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is $10.
Seems the sales are starting early
That's not a very good sign for sale prices if it is

Yay! New thread.
Hoping for some Season Pass / dlc discounts as well, but of course I do not expect it at all.

Already have a feeling this sale is going to stink compared to PSN's mid-year.
For example, Submerged is $1 and Mordor GOTY is $4.
LET'S GO LARRY, GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER.

damn, can't believe the last topic is locked, anyone know of any place year gold is on sale? always hate paying full price and it didn't get a sale this like last year this time
The last thread is locked because it's time to move on to a new thread as it was getting big. Check this thread for cheaper than retail codes for XBLG:

Also, reading that thread will help you understand when Dennis randomly LOLs and throws out seemingly meaningless words.

I haven't looked yet, but I'm guessing we already have had a dozen "shiny new thread" or "new thread smell" jokes?
Anyway, VIVA LA XBOX DEALS THREAD!

Yeah since it's been on sale for $6.60 a few times and this $10.00 price once before hope that isn't a bad sign....

Based on that Old Blood price, I have a feeling it's going to be one of those quality over quality prices sales. :(

Bethesda is probably hoping to capitalize on the hype for the new game and not drop them as low as they've been. Knowing they've both been $6.XX, I can't bring myself to pay $10, even if they're worth that much.

I'll buy Wolfenstein The New Order at $10 but I'm going to have a big frowny face while doing so.

One thing I hate is how MS jumps around with the sale prices of older games (older meaning out for two years or more). Like how The Old Blood was $6.60 in November, then $10 a month later, then $6.60 again in April, and now $10 again. Makes the whole thing seem really random. Do they think people will buy a game that's been out for a while at a higher sale price than the one they passed on before, or are they just counting on new Xbox owners or people not paying attention to previous sale prices?
And here I was hoping to snag both Wolfies for $10 total at some point. I guess the wait continues!

Yeah. The Steam sale and PSN sale are fantastic. We need the Xbox sale to follow suit lol
Agreed. I spent $50 in PSVR games a couple days ago. Hoping Larry and Phil want my money too.
In for cheap For Honor and Prey. But both will be $45 I am guessing.

Hopefully they drop the price of the Fallout 4 deluxe edition. Need to finish that really well done and super fun Fallout game with amazing DLC just not as good as the other ones but still great fallout game.
FTFY
Also hopefully Tekken 7 goes on sale

I think they're banking on the average person not paying as close attention as the folks in this thread do. I tell friends about sales when I think they'd like a game and they have no idea. My ex uses her Xbox almost daily and doesn't even redeem all the GWG. The guy at Gamestop who really wanted me to preorder something didn't know about the BC sale while it was happening. For most people, $10 is probably an impulse buy price, but I'm a frugal ass bitch with a good memory and a lot of patience.

Even though I would be trading in my discs to go digital on these, I still want them at an unreasonably low price.

Wasn't there a bundle with both of them at some point? I can't tell anymore, and xbox.com is officially trolling me now. When I search for "wolfenstein" I get TNO at $20 and TOB at $12, but when I click on TNO there is a link to TOB for $10. WTF MS, ICE.

I'm out of the loop on Steam's Summer Sales practices. They no longer do daily things right? And they're no longer great right? I saw four things in my wishlist are on sale but the prices are eh.
Which will disappoint more, UGS or Prime Day?
If history is any lesson, Prime Day will DESTROY (in terms of which is more disappointing).

Mistake, or a sign of things to come? If the latter, I think we'll hear peoples' heads pop all across the internet. ESPECIALLY if the GCU discount applies OMG! FYI, don't transpose the 'c' and the 'o' in discount...

That's a thought I had too, it hyped me enough to finally dig into my backlog and play through the New Order this week. Very competent game, there is a couple of issues with switching out weapons which is a major no-no in a fast paced FPS like this, but I say solid 8 out of 10. There is some very out there stuff in the story, almost like what I thought would have be a Tarantino take on WW II (if he didn't already make Inglorious Bastards)
