Anytime I hear WWE and wrestling talk on the CAGCast, is a win-win for me.

I think Shipwreck was thinking of either Legends of Wrestling, or WWE All-Stars (more arcade-like).

 
Cheaply, set up the Do Not Disturb settings to go on every night automagically. You can set it up so that contacts can ring through, but stupid texts and notifications won’t make noises.
 
You guys were spot on this week, a lot of other podcasts are making a big deal out of the EA Star Wars cancellation. They obviously wouldn't have shut it down if the game looked good and profitable. It was prob still 2 years out and to pay all those salaries must have not seemed like it would pay off when the game came out.

Good on wombat for not joining the Nintendo bandwagon. My kids want a Switch for Christmas but I agree they need to get out of the original Xbox era of features and come to the modern day. They release an update like this and I'm sure IGN and other sites are praising them for adding a feature that still isn't up to date.

This. It's so strange how a large majority of the gaming community just can't understand the fact that video game companies are first and foremost...businesses. Meaning...they need to make money.

Also, I completely agree with Wombat. All video game stories are bad. Although, I will say Uncharted 4 was less bad than 99.9% of games. I play games for the gameplay not the story.

You guys are right about game pricing and mirotransactions, you will always have the option to spend more.

I was disappointed in Wombat's abortion egg muffin joke. He needs to do better.

That’s overly simplistic. Companies shut down profitable operations all the time. A new management comes in and decides that they want to move the company in a new direction, and some existing projects or operations don’t align with that vision. And this aligns with what we’ve heard about what about Visceral.

It's a quality joke, chicken eggs are basically abortions. I guess more like chicken periods. Did you have any chicken period this morning with a side of pig ass?

 
If you stream via mixer the lag is like 1 second. Wayyy better than Twitch - so thats by far the best option if you want to stream Jackbox games.

Its also possible to co-stream with people, again best option for way three Destiny or Fortnite streams.

Ok, I just signed up for Hello Fresh, because seeing all of your dinners on Twitter has worn me down and I must partake.

May I ask if the three of you ever discussed your impressions of the Super Nintendo (SNES) Classic?

I know that Wombat got one from Toys R Us, but I don't remember hearing discussion about actually playing it on the CAGcast.

Did you force your kids to try it? What did you/they think?

You guys keep approaching the One X like it’s a new system that needs a “system seller”. It’s not. It’s just a more powerful X1 for people who are willing to pay for better fidelity or smoother frame rates. No different than PS4 Pro. It’s probably not for people like Wombat and Ship who don’t seem to care about those things once they are “good enough“ and that’s perfectly fine.

PUBG isn’t going to be a looker no matter when it comes out so that isn’t going to be a showcase for it. Besides, that game is going to be pitched hard to the entire X1 userbase, not just the high-end.

The games they have concentrated the marketing on are Forza 7 and Assassin’s Creed. They are also patching an assortment of older titles. Every major third party game that launches after it arrives will look and/or run better. That is what sells the X or Pro to the type of user who cares about frame rates and fidelity. The rest of the users (the majority) will just keep playing their regular X1s and PS4s.
 
Question for Cheapy.  I can't remember if it was this spring or over the summer.  But you talked about leaving porn on your iPad and Mrs Cheapy saw it.  You then made some comments to the effect that your iPad was basically a naked lady machine for you and you did not use it for much else.  But you really seem to speak highly of your Samsung Galaxy Tablet while also speak highly of your Apple iPhone.  Can you share your thoughts about why you like the Samsung Tablet but not the iPad.
