Have any of you seen the remodeled stores? Target is slashing its game section. Instead of having 8 ft of games in those retractable cases, it's now 4ft. Half as much.
Appears they are going to adopt a top 28.
Bottom line: expect these ads to continue to suck. And say goodbye to using Target as a viable game retailer.

That really sucks, they are my favorite big box game retailer currently.
 
Not that surprising given the competition from BB. Clearance games were honestly the only thing going for them and my local store has completely stopped doing it. Well that and the occasional gltich, like getting an X1 bundle for $140 after PM/Cartwheel. ;)

One of the Target's by me has remodelled to this and it does indeed suck. They barely have a clearance section now! The Target half a mile away from my house has not yet remodelled, but they do not have the clearance section they once had. The last thing I picked up was Bulletstorm for PS4 for $9.98.

Ah bummer. I love Target and I really love the look of their remodeled stores, but will be sad to see a reduced gaming section once ours remodels in spring. Also sad to see the cafe leaving at my store, as many Target trips start with a popcorn and a soda. Sounds like Starbucks will have a Coke Freestyle machine at least.

 
Good to know the Switch is still $299.99, just like it was the past 52 weeks. I had nearly forgotten. Thanks Target!

Competition from BB? My BB's game section is basically a toy store now.

 
I bought the Xbox One X for the $50 gift card on Saturday because Best Buy didn't have it and, I'm also impatient. Looks like I'll spend that gift card on underwear.
