Yep, my free trial ends in a few days so I'll pick it up then. Have two months of game pass I got for $2 so extra time to play Sea of Thieves for $10 seems reasonable on top of any free 360 games. The game is very shallow but it still has a strange appeal just in the sense that it is vastly different from just about anything else on the market right now. Hard to explain, just a game to play casually while digging into the mechanics of being a sailor that applies to RL sailing on the surface.

I like it for the same reasons I kinda enjoy No Man's Sky, but I'm not buying it for those reasons as well. It really made me wish the Blackwake people had more money, because they at least have a vision for the game part.

Yeah, it kinda suffers from the same issue huh? Although could be worse; I remember beta testing Pirates of the Burning Sea MMO and this game at least functions the way those guys had tried to make that game. One day they'll get this one right.
