I'll throw out a mention for Akane, it's been my favorite out of all the free Qubic games I've gotten over the years. Just a simple wave based action game. It's endless (with a quick boss encounter each 100 kills) but you have quests you're working on along the way that unlock new weapons/equipment to use on future attempts. Took me a couple hours to 100% unlock everything which is the perfect length for the amount of content in the game.

Any opinion on Nine Parchments for $5? I would be playing solo.
I personally did not enjoy it playing solo. I'd highly recommend downloading the demo and see if it's for you.

I keep forgetting to check for demos on Switch games. Will try it out, thanks

It's well worth it to try demos before throwing money at a game. In many cases this saved me spending money but it's also cost me money .. as in the case of Stella Glow on 3DS (tracked down a physical copy after playing the demo)... and Langrisser 1&2 on Switch (same thing).
....
Side note, I went ahead and DM'd Frisky about changing the name of the thread to "Nintendo eShop Deals & Discussions". Though I guess I should have mentioned also nuking the OP and 2nd post content... maybe he'll read the thread.

I had a similar issue when I tried to order the NES and SNES controllers. The store is
ed up. You have to wait for them to fix it, but you'll be lucky to find a rep on the phone who understands the problem and can thus do anything about it. I tried to place an order once a week for about 4 weeks then it finally went through. Horrible for you since these pins are limited.
Thanks that at least sheds some light on my issue. I've been attempting to place an order everyday since last week and I keep getting the same error. It's been really frustrating and no word from Nintendo Support either

I had this issue a few weeks ago and was able to figure out a fix. Permanently remove your payment method (either from a switch or the website), then re-save your payment method ( either on the switch or website) and your order should go through.

Once you redeem a reward, how long do you have to buy the actual item? Is it the expiration date of the item itself?
No it says on the item page once you redeem it when it expires. Like one item for me says the item is available until 3/22 but down below states my code needs to be redeemed by 3/29

Guys, Nintendo has reconfirmed on their Twitter account this morning that they will be withdrawing Mario’s 35th Anniversary products at the end of the month. This includes the wonderful collection which is Super Mario 3D-All-Stars and the Mario battle royale game Super Mario 35 and the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. This means that the products will be pulled from the Nintendo Switch eShop and from retailers on 31st March.

Anecdotally I don't feel the Game&Watch sold well enough to be confident a Zelda I + II version to celebrate the anniversary this year will be released..... I still see like 10-15 at some Wallies.

I think he's waiting for someone to take over and create a new thread so he's not in charge of any future edits.
If that's the case he could reply to my DM and say as much and I'd go start a new thread. Or he could reply here in this thread. He had no problem posting about the binding of isaac repentance.
See, I played the 3DS Stella Glow demo and regretted even bothering to download it.
And that's what makes demos so perfect. My view of the game makes no difference as you got to experience it yourself.
For Langrisser 1&2... it took me about three attempts before the game just clicked. But Stella Glow had me at the first battle.
<snip>
Are you waiting for someone to take up the reigns to start a new thread? IF that's it, say something and I'll go start one and we can lock this one up.

The guy has earned the right to spend a day or two thinking it over before he turns over the keys, don't you think?

I said in my post earlier about stopping the lists that I was going to shut this thread down when somebody makes a thread, though I was expecting it to happen sooner. Sorry that I didn't reply to the PM, but I got home late last night from work and was worn out, so I didn't really have time to deal with it then.

Does anyone have a list of which games are worth it?
From personal experience, games worth the 17 cents and some more:
- Robonauts
- Mana Spark
- Not Not - A brain buster
- Akane
- Koloro
- Gravity Rider Zero
- Escape Doodland
Games worth the 1.70 dollars:
- Dex
- Blazing Beaks
I got Escape Doodland and Dex in this promo.
I am thinking of getting Death's Hangover and Warlocks 2 as well (although Warlocks 2 usually is on sale for 1.99, so not much of a difference)
Haven't played the BIT.TRIP games but I've heard that if you are into that type of gameplay, they are pretty great.

Thanks I did see that last week and I had my saved card removed (I needed CS to remove it since I couldn't do it via website or through my Switch either) and then added it back but unfortunately it still gives me the same "There was an error processing your transaction" prompt. I've been trying everyday since last week and it still gives me the same message :(

Space Pioneer is pretty fun but gets ridiculously grindy about a quarter of the way through. Zombie Blast Crew is basically the exact same game, but you are fighting zombies instead of aliens. Same issue- gets very grindy and repetitive. It's weird that Space Pioneer is basically the sequel to Zombie Blast Crew, but it's being offered for cheaper. You can get a couple hours of fun from both games so they're both probably worth the price if you like pretty mindless top-down shooters.https://qubicgames.com/17/
Does anyone have a list of which games are worth it?
The racing/driving games like Rekt & #RaceDieRun (hashtag in a game title, smh 🤮) are awful imo, and I play a lot of racers as they are one of my favorite genres. Maybe you'd be more forgiving of bad handling and shitty framerate than me, I dunno.
Rimelands is a quite interesting rpg as it's a very old mobile game that was impressive when it first came out. It has to be at least ten years old at this point iirc. And it certainly looks and plays like it. I had fun replaying it on switch but I have a lot of patience for dated rpgs & appreciate them almost on an anthropological level.
All those bit.trip games were rereleased in a compilation on ps4, and that's how I played them. Releasing them individually is kind of lame as these are extremely basic games. But you can get all of them for a little over a dollar through this sale at least. I dunno if they're worth it, they're almost like free flash games from 20 years ago. Runner is definitely the best of the bunch, but the sequel Runner 2 improved on it so much that the first game is almost like a rough beta in comparison.
I own others like Dex and Death's Hangover but still haven't played them. The latter definitely seems unique and bizarre at least. I'll just be buying that minigolf game during this sale probably- can't say no to a bit of minigolf gaming.

I actually own most of those 17 cent games. I did but Akane, Eyes, Gravity Rider and Escape doodland. Still debating on Utopia 9. I am more interested in these cheap games. They are only adding to my backlog. The $1.70 games I will only purchase if there are some absolute must plays in there. The 17 cent games are ones if I play and am not really into, it's no big time. Surprisingly, most of these games have gotten decent to good reviews. I might check out reviews for all the $1.70 games but I haven't seen any universal praise for any of them here so for now, I am good with those 4.
