Seconded.  I'm really bummed that we're having to cancel our gym membership and hope that this will provide some level of workout going into the cold months during a pandemic.

I know the feeling.  I haven't been able to work out much and I'm going stir crazy.  My wife actually started playing EA Sports Active 2 a while back since I had that laying around.  I tried looking for something similar but more current when I found some Ring Fit Adventure videos.  It looks cool, and I thought it would be something we could both get some use out of while we're stuck at home.

I think they knew it was going to be of big interest, which is why they bundled it in and tried to be so mysterious at first.

But I mean come on Nintendo, they skipped doing anything around when E3 would have been, they have to have something to show that is of legitimate interest.  Are they going into the Fall with two new consoles from competitors and have absolutely no reason to consider them (not that Switch is a competitor to next gens)?

The reality of the current world situation is probably why we haven't had proper directs, or any big games announcement in regards to multiple big titles over time. The directs that were rumored to have happened back in January I believe were planned, and just didn't happen due to covid-19. Late December early January, most places that deal in big numbers in China knew shit was getting real, and delays would be coming soon. "N" early on stated the OG NS would have production issues, and they couldn't say how bad it would get, and when things would get back to normal.

"N" only wants to release it's biggest games, when they can also best move hardware along with, like with Animal Crossing, by having new systems, promotions, CE's, etc. Since AC released, there are no systems to be had, and while inventory happens pretty often, it doesn't last long. Until "N" can get a real handle on production, delays, JC drift, etc, I don't expect them to make to many big announcements, and when they do, it will be 6-8 weeks out, with the stealth reveals like they've been doing.

Can you imagine how much business they would have lost out on if systems hadn't have been as available when AC was released? Prices on the secondary market for systems is still high, so why release AAA titles, when you can't sell the major qty of systems you normally do for such releases? You also have to imagine how bad the worlds economy will look in 2, 3 or even 5 months from now? The same way we all are seeing HUGE changes to life, expect to see huge changes across all avenues, and what we are seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg.

Yeah we likely haven't seen all the consequences yet. Sony obviously has big releases like TLOU2, FF7R and Ghosts, but these were long in the works. I'm predicting that both the PS5 and Xbox whatever will be have somewhat barren launch titles and likely not get the big system sellers till likely next year at earliest. Nintendo is feeling it especially with their own hardware shortages, but what about those two systems? It's going to be a bit barren overall I bet. This is a good time for smaller gems coming out from indie studios already used to working remotely and such.

Only about an hour in so far, but I can't believe Deadly Premonition 2 exists. I'm so happy. Its everything I've ever wanted.
The same charm from the first game. Another system seller, and the main reason why I bought a switch earlier this year. Incredible.

I just got an error buying a Switch game, it took my money, but the eShop still shows the game as if I didn't purchase it. Does anybody know how to contact Nintendo to get my money back, because, even trying to buy the same game a second time gives me an error. I even restarted my Switch, and it didn't start to download the game.

You're posting on a forum asking how to contact Nintendo?

Zantra, go here: https://en-americas-...com/app/contact (if you are not from the Americas check for the region).

Give them a call (best option), or any of the other available channels and explain that you purchased a game but it did not get activated in your Nintendo account (have the transaction information from the bank at hand just in case). They should see the payment processed and enable you the game. Good luck!

There's a pizza making game for free right now on the Switch eShop if you own some other games. The name slips my mind, and my Switch isn't near me to check, but I'm sure somebody else knows the name.

Whoa, anyone else notice you can now add games to your wishlist from Nintendo.com?

Anyway, thanks everyone for pointing out yet another free game from that dev.

I wish it were easier to find the free stuff.  The specialized discounts don't easily appear, sadly... targeted discounts aren't used when sorting games.

I don't see the discount currently... did it end, or does it have very specific requirements?

This is what I found regarding the deal:

"Get Pizza Bar Tycoon 100% off (FREE) or Flowlines VS for 99% off ($0.05) if you have any of the following Nintendo Switch games from Nintendo eShop:
Ludomania
Klondike Solitaire
Food Truck Tycoon
Moto Rush GT
Sushi Time!
Street Basketball
Burger Chef Tycoon
2048 Battles
Classic Games Collection Vol. 1
Freecell Solitaire Deluxe
Cooking Tycoons - 3 in 1 Bundle
Spider Solitaire
Super Battle Cards
Breakfast Bar Tycoon
Urban Flow
Trancelation
Solitaire Deluxe Bundle - 3 in 1
Food Truck Tycoon - Asian Cuisine
Flowlines VS or Pizza Bar Tycoon

Sale ends 7/12/2020 for Pizza Bar Tycoon"

In regards of deals being difficult to find, I personally follow this topic, as well as a reddit one (don't know if I can post it here), and keep a close check on the usual deals companies: Baltoro Games, Drageus Games, QubicGames, Cool Small Games, etc. as they always have chained sales.

That set is $230 MSRP. Amazing and my family owns a lot of expensive Lego sets but there's no way to justify this at retail...

Alternatively, here's a custom (faux) Lego NES set that admittedly doesn't come with a toy television, but that can hold a Raspberry Pi and be hooked up to a real television.

I mean, I don't really want either, but if I were going to get one, it would be the one that I could actually play SMB on and costs like $200 less.

I own the NESPi case for (one of) my RPi. At only $20 it's great and I really like the look of it. It makes a great desk accessory while my NES sits comfortably in the original box in the attic.

I have an nes classic I can set out as a functional decoration.  I have no interest in an overpriced lego set... thankfully.

If you just want a decorative NES to put on a desk or shelf, then definitely don't get the LEGO set. That set is for people that are into building LEGO and especially the intricate sets with thousands of custom pieces to put together, which are all pretty expensive and aren't for people that don't care about that.

Looks like Wal-Mart has the 2DS XL with Mario Kart 7 back in stock for $99. It’s the black and turquoise model, and if you’re on the fence I would go for it as they aren’t producing them anymore and Walmart is most likely clearing all their inventory.
