Here's what I've got so far in an unfinished state for those wanting to see a bit of a behind the scenes version of the list:

:switch:

Ooh, i didn't even realize Blaster Master Zero 2 had come out, and now it's on sale.  I was hoping maybe Death Road to Canada would be cheap, but this is a nice surprise.

Hard at work, even on a holiday.  Frisky, your balls are the shiniest.

I hate that Skyrim is still that expensive, but that's the best price for it... *Unzips pants*

Of course Amazon matches Gris the day after I buy it from the eshop (with the reduced coin value). Oh well...

Not trying to clutter up this thread with begging and selling posts, but I was able to make a purchase on the Argentina eshop, and grabbed the following (all of which are up for sale/trade - looking for Ape Out/Ori/The Messenger):

Celeste

Katana ZERO

Hollow Knight

Hotline Miami Collection

Stardew Valley

Wargroove

This eShop sale is killing it. I dropped close to $100 already.

Frisky doing the Lord’s work, as always.

How much storage space does DLC generally take? Just jumped into the switch this holiday season and i'm going to try and stay mostly physical where I can. But considering DLC for stuff like Smash Bros and Zelda BOTW how much space does the extra stuff really use? Trying to decide on whether to try and find the money for large capacity microSD cards or just wait until I really need them.

Yeah, they usually show up within a day or so, with the final international fees finalized. Already got the confirmation email from the Eshop in about 3 minutes, so the codes are in hand already. That’s always been a quick turnaround.

I made a purchase this morning and now wanted to grab 3 codes for divinity for myself and two friends. For some reason it’s not processing

DLC for Smash Bros Ultimate using the cart for me sans Terry and the stage/music since I haven't played in a bit say 0.7 MB with update data being 1.6 GB. I'm guessing maybe closer to 1.7GB with it. I'm running a 250 GB card and half of it is full so I'd recommend a larger card especially if you want digital titles. Note my biggest DLC is likely Torna at 3.2 GB and biggest game 10.7 GB for World of Final Fantasy Maxima. Digital games generally are close to 4 GB with some pushing around 9 GB or so. I do like digital games though.

It varies wildly. Zelda takes up over 2GB between updates and DLC. Smash I believe takes up between 3-5 at this point. And then there’s stuff like Assassin’s Creed III whick needs about 6GB.

If you’re sure you won’t dip into a lot of digital titles, you could be able to get by on a 128 GB card, which is usually $20-ish.

Edit: there is stuff like the NBA 2K games, Wolfenstein and L.A. Noire that need sizeable downloads to complete the base content that’s partly on the cart.

Are the officially licensed Nintendo Micro SD cards any better than a regular Sandisk Micro SD card for the Switch?

I use the Samsung Selects, they are the same card as the plus, just Amazon exclusive.

I would say if you can afford a 5000gb SD card I would go with that. Even if you don’t plan on having a huge digital library. I started with a 128gb card and due to lack of self control and better judgment I got close to filling it and decided to upgrade to the 500gb. IT TAKES FOREVER to transfer data from SD to PC to new SD if you don’t want to burn your data cap from your ISP. I always like to have as much extra space as possible because you never know if an update will be large or not.

Largest digital game I have installed is Starlink battle for atlas digital deluxe. Game is 6.8GB, update data is 9.4GB, and DLC is 1.3MB for a total of 16.3GB

Huh, Axiom Verge just dropped another $2 on the eShop (to $8, was discounted to $10 yesterday). I didn’t know they let you change pricing on the fly like that.

Lumines Remastered is pretty good/fun and has great music, it's $7.49 atm

Also Puyo Champions is $3.99 if you wanted something you could play vs other people

If you're not familiar with either series I'd say maybe look at some videos first to see if they're the type of puzzle games you're after

Oh wow, Super Chariot is only 99 cents on eshop. This game is so neat! You can play solo but it's best with another person. You basically go around collecting gems, maps, and materials to upgrade your weapons. But the only way to pick up said items is to drag your chariot up to it and hold it there until it gets sucked in. All the while fighting off enemies that steal from you and making sure you don't let go of the chariot.

It's physics based, and a lot of the gems are stuck way high up in the stage, so you have to cooperate with the other person to stand on platforms on each side and hoist the chariot into place. Things get wacky and half the time you don't know if you're even playing it right.

You have to get creative to figure out the best solution, but there's many ways to go about each puzzle. My brother and I have a ton of fun with it, along with many arguments. You get a lot of content as we easily spend over an hour on each stage trying to 100% it. A steal for 99 cents.

Puzzle Quest is king in terms of gameplay length with all the RPG stuff adding to it. If you never played Lumines it's probably worth it but if you played it ages ago on the PSP it's still the same game.

I wanted better, but I guess I'll finally pick up the two I'm missing. These sales rarely come around.
