I appreciate the post but after seeing how small they are in person I'm having a difficult time pulling the trigger.

I wanted one until I saw my local Walmart's display model last week. The graphic around the joystick was starting to peel off. The wear was consistent with where a child's arms would sit while they were playing the game. No thanks.
 
That paint issue is supposedly fixed on new models. They also offer a plexiglass cover for free if you reach to their customer support from what I’ve read. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Rampage one at this price. Qualifies for free shipping too.

The customer service is really great they will send you a plexiglass protector for it. Free

It is priced $209 once you add to cart. It shows $299 on the listing page though.

I did a quick google review and man those things are TINY. I don't know how that can be 3/4 scale when the heigh is like almost half a real cabinet. My KI2 cabinet is taller than I am and I'm nearly 6 feet. That cabinet was like at adults wastes in the video I watched. It looks closer to 2/3 or 1/2 scale than 3/4. It is pretty much for kids only it looks like.

 
Gotcha, nice! I got to play with one at a store and yeah if you’re sitting down it’s alright. I was really tempted to get the Best Buy Bundle but im hoping for a sale on it.
 
For everyone saying they are tiny- yea they are. BUT- use a chair or a stool instead of standing and there you go! These things are fantastic. I’m personally waiting for their cocktail cabinets to come out.

Usually things in the ad get a huge restock for bf. so hopefully that happens. I just want the Street Fighter one to mod. It’s the only one with 2 joysticks both with 6 buttons.

Try visiting Walmart Thanksgiving morning. If prior years are any indication, the Black Friday prices will be live in-store in the morning.
 
Anyone know what sticks and buttons these use? The display model I played had some janky ass sticks and buttons in it.... not arcade quality at all, felt terrible. Stick had no feedback and when you'd hit an input it wouldn't click back to center like a normal stick but just sort of stay there. The buttons felt too mushy too. Not sure how easy they would be to replace with quality material but out of the box I think the parts they use are gonna be shit quality.

ETA Prime has videos opening up the machine and replacing its guts with new buttons and a raspberry pi. The buttons and stick aren't very good, but replacement is easy enough. I don't think it would be worth putting top of the line sticks and buttons though...you would be better off with a bartop arcade kit from Haruman or GameRoomSolutions or Monster Arcades.

About $10 more than when Walmart had it up for weeks with a price mistake. Saw one in person at Thinkgeek and wasn't too impressed because of the size. Would rather just invest in either building a cabinet or an actual arcade machine in the future.

 
Even if I was satisfied with the size of these small cabinets, I do not have any room for them as my game room is packed with consoles, games, tvs, and cabinets to the max. Just helps me save money that I shouldn't spend anyways, I guess.

 
So take this for a grain of salt but I saw these today at work, I think stores are only getting 1 pallet worth ea of the arcades. Each pallet had maybe 10 or 12 on them stacked up. Again maybe larger stores will get more of these or they'll ship more to stores. Just know if you really want it, get it.

Walmart has been restocking since launch it's not something that is gonna go oos tomorrow
