I couldnt ever get a controller to work on the PC version just a heads up for anyone thinking about it. I ultimately bought it for PS4.
I haven't had an issue using a wired Xbox controller on the PC version. Highly recommend this game at this price.

Xbox controllers have worked since day 1. There was an issue with PS4 controllers that has a very easy workaround. I believe that has now been patched, so no workaround is needed. Controller compatibility has not been and is not an issue for this title.

I'm having a hard time finding games not working with a Xbox 360 controller (wired or wireless), which is what I have been using for the last decade on PC. Anyone using Windows and play games really should just have one of these no fuss natively supported controllers around.
