eBay- $26.88 Refurbished Logitech Astro A50 wireless headset

The feedback seems sparse, but legit. The other items the seller is selling is ridiculous. $80 for a hot water bottle?!? I would put this on the category of too good to be true.

hmmm tempting. anyone used these before?
I bought them new from Best Buy due to a price mistake. They are very comfortable and the sound quality is good. The mic is not the greatest ever. I think I remember reading that these will not work with next-gen.

Im not sure Id trust it just because what they are selling isnt a thing, there is no logitech astro a50. There are astro a50's, and logitech has their own wireless headsets

Item specifics list astro as the brand, then the rest of the post lists logitech

eBay seller accounts get hacked all the time and the frauds post too-good-to-be-true listings. If you actually bit on this, it will take you a lot of time to get your money back. This is 100% an account hack. They use abandoned accounts because there is no immediate hold on the funds.

Just got an email from Ebay stating the purchase might be from a compromised account and to file a refund through the Resolution Center for a refund.

EDIT: Got a refund in 5 minutes

Same, filed and within 10 minutes got a notice that I've been refunded the amount of the purchase.

I didnt like them personally. I felt the sound output was way too quiet. I spent a day messing with the EQ settings before I just returned them and got the Steel Series Arctis Pro (https://steelseries.com/gaming-headsets/arctis-pro). They make a wireless version also. I've been beyond happy with them. A friend has the lesser model (arctis 3 or 7) and I've used steel series before (Siberia 2) and have always been happy with the purchase.

I jumped to Astro because its one of those brands that gets talked about as best of the best. Maybe I had a defective item, but the low output was a common complaint when i searched for resolution online.

I love the design and fit of Arctis headphones. I got a deal on a refurbished set of Astro 50 Gen. 4 headphones and they are just... ok. I am thinking of picking up a set of Arctis 7s to go with my Arctis 3 Bluetooth headphones.

I didn't have an issue with low sound output, but the surround on them is terrible. If you intend to use them without surround, they're ok. The mic is mediocre too, but that's how astro mics have always been. Astro has never been a good brand, they're only good for the old versions of their mixamps and that's about it. They've been shit for years.
