I'm hoping for a glitch again like in 2017 where the discounts stacked for around 75% off on some games.

I've read the T&C for the small business coupon and I still don't understand what sellers are eligible

Edit: It appears there's a banner on the pages for items/sellers that are eligible

does it only apply to the primary accountholder? I'm part of an Amazon Household, and I get Prime shipping but it won't let me get the Dots.

Okay, so spoiler alert. But bear with me here. If you want two Dots for $39.98, you have to...wait for it...add TWO Dots to your cart.

Amazon prime day is a lot like gamestop pro day. Both promise large things, and both make you feel like you wasted your time when it was over

Not too much there. Under PS4 games, I saw $39.99 for The Last of Us II and $59.99 for a year of PS Now.  Mostly just the handful of $20 or less discounts you'd expect.  Probably nothing worth jumping on with Black Friday next month.  The best deals seem to be on Amazon devices, $70 off the Fire HD 10 probably being the biggest.

Unfortunately, I didn't see any real glitches this year (other than DJ Hero showing up as a deal on the video game deals page for some reason.  Lol.)

Not seeing anything gaming related that's worth it.   They act like MK11 for $20 is a deal, when it's been the price on and off for the last 6 months.   Especially not worth it since the Ultimate Edition is coming out with all the DLC including the new Rambo, Rain and Mileena pack.

Grabbed a Retrobit 2.4GHz Genesis controller for $26.xx for my Mega Sg and the 512GB Sandisk MicroSD for my XStation project.

Got a couple Christmas presents ready. Can always return if lower price come Black Friday.

A power a switch animal crossing controller and a pink knockoff controller for a 4 year old.

Interesting. I really want the Saturn one but the sega one also works with a Saturn. Decisions, decisions.

There's a handful of video game art books listed as lightning deals if you're interested in that kind of thing.  Splatoon 2 is up now.  Upcoming include Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts, and Doom Eternal.

I am still literally too cheap to pay for Amazon prime. I find the $25 free shipping limit helps limit my impulse buying. Can still get in on warehouse deals!

I do remember checking the lightning deals gold box back in the days, but now they have like 12 thousand items on sale at once.

I got MK11 for $20 nearly a year ago from BB. $10 would be a decent Prime Day price, not $20 - $25.

Is the 128 gb microSD and 12 month family membership worth it?
Just got a new switch and want me and the kiddo to be able to use the online as well as the extra storage.

You'll go through that storage quickly if you're buying digital copies of big games (Mario, Zelda etc). I'd recommend a larger card, unless you only plan to get a few games or are buying mostly indie titles. Larger MicroSD cards are on sale frequently and there are some deals on the Nintendo Online service. I've been on a 200 GB card for about 2 years and its pretty full, I have to archive or delete things I'm not playing. I'd only get this for the convenience of not shopping around and just having it done with

I miss when prime day sales and black friday sales were good.  I still remember when they clearanced out the psp library of stuff they had.  Got so many psp titles for 10 bucks or less.

Yeah it's shaping up to be a very lackuster Black Friday and Prime Day this year.  Stores don't want much additional seasonal foot traffic in 2020.  There weren't even many new releases this year.  So the sales aren't going to be very good or interesting.

I guess you’re right. I already got 5 games that might be considered big games and I’m only going to get more so it’ll probably be best for me to take your advice on the larger SD card.

Thanks for the reply.

No probs. It's annoying to buy storage only to have to upgrade it a little later. In case you want to crunch some numbers yourself, if you go to the Nintendo page for any game in the eshop and scroll down you can see how much space it will take up to figure this out exactly for your needs. So for example:

https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild-switch/

And if you scroll down some you can see BOTW is about about 15 GB and so on

I think it's a nice deal if you look at it as paying normal price for NSO and then getting a 128gb card for $5. But the card itself is worse (slower) than its non-Nintendo-branded counterpart (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FCMKK5X/).

I had no clue about this. One would think that if it has the Nintendo seal of approval on it (Nintendo Logo on SD card), it would be the best option available. Clearly that’s not the case here lol. I checked out the link you posted and will most likely end up going with that one if I can get the 12 month NSO family membership at a good price.

Thanks for pointing that out to me.
