Mariokart live

Fungicidial

CAGiversary!
Picked up Mariokart live. It worked for about 30 minutes before literally hitting a snarl. A few hairs clogged up one of the axels and seems to be a real pain to fix. $100 is a bit steep for 30 minutes of fun. This is more of a PSA than a deal.

Hence why it doesn't belong in the "deals" forum.

I prepared by having the Roomba on overdrive this past week!  :joystick:

You could do a Metacritic review if you haven't already, and a BB review, Amazon review, etc. Maybe HLTB say 30 mins but the B stands for break not beat, how long to break. Idk.

I put a few out there but it looks like they aren't posting yet. It's going to be a big seller this holiday season but it was a waste of money unless you plan on flipping it or having it around as a collectable.

Yeah that's rough OP, I feel for ya. Maybe there's a way to mod the wheel setup a bit and make it road/hardwood floor-ready so it can take the hairs and dirt ppl throw at it

I suppose it's possible if you pulled it apart and 3d printed another design for the wheel assembly (which looks to be possible with the front end at least). Nintendo underestimates how gross the average floor can be.

Did you even use a broom 1st? I always feel like my floor needs cleaned, and I played with ours last night for an hour or so, no issues, of course I swept the floor 1st....

I swept too beforehand and still got shit all over the wheels on mine.  Like it was caked on the rubber treads in the wires but it was easy to get that off.

I did have some stuff on one of the front axels but I took some tweezers to them and got it out.  But yes this is kind of absurd that Nintendo did not know or care about this being an issue.  I don't want to have to dissect shit out of the wheels every time I'm done.
