Just continue to do the opposite of what Wombat says regarding most movies, and you’ll be good. Bill and Ted 3 is awesome.

Hey wombat If you ever get the urge to join the rest of your family for pancakes but don't want to deal with the calories check out Walden's farms pancake syrup, Its zero calorie and tastes great I've basically replaced regular syrup with it. I use it on Costco protein pancakes for a healthy low cal breakfast

Rooting for you wombat keep it up!

I'm surprised Wombat didn't push Shipwreck more on his disinterest in the Doobie Brothers. Having met both Shipwreck and Skunk Baxter at conventions, I can tell you that they have a lot in common!

-They both have excellent beards
-They've both worked on helicopters (Skunk Baxter coded the guidance system for the Apache's hellfire missile)
-They have both ended conversations with me after I asked dumb personal questions

I'm really sold on Oculus Quest 2 being a good VR product but I am concerned that Facebook makes money by selling collected data.  It seems to me that a VR headset has the potential to collect a large amount of data about a user including (maybe) neurological data (via eye tracking).  Does Cheapy have any concerns about this?

Was thinking of this clip after the discussion a while back on the proper order to eat food.

https://youtu.be/qdq0Hh_i9pI

Was wondering Cheapy's thoughts on Oculus introducing subscriptions, especially in how it is changing how some apps choose to operate. For example, FitXR was a $30 one time purchase fitness app on the Quest, but has switched to a subscription model where you pay $10 a month for new daily routines. Luckily if you already purchased you get to keep your original work outs and three free months of the new service, but review scores have taken a hit as current owners are upset with the new direction. Is it a mistake for companies to switch their business plan in this way?

As always, love the show.

Have Cheapy or Wombat watched the Wild Wild Country documentary on Netflix? If so, where they be setting up Cagistan so that we may come and sit under their teaching full time and give them all of our money?

Edit: it has full frontal cultist nudity.

Since when did "Shipwreck's Uncomfortable Segment" become "Some Shipwreck and Mostly Wombat's Uncomfortable Segment"?  Shipwreck was doing just fine discussing the All Star Game move, but as usual, Wombat has to chime in.  Saying the Braves owner has a huge influence over politicians, on how voting in his state can be done, was a little strange.   A quick Google search will show the myths that are being thrown out there about the new voting rules.  Especially when it comes to Voter ID Laws, which are found in more than half of the US states.  Not to mention, Wombat lost me a few weeks ago calling the Avengers game RACIST!?!?  Really?  I'm not bashing Wombat here, his "Tales from Retail" segment is fun and he does a good job as his role as the "comedian" on the podcast.  Keep up the great work bois!!!

Calling the Georgia law just a "Voter ID Law" tells me that you are a either being disingenuous or are uneducated in the new laws. Here is a decent breakout from a quick google search, https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/04/10/georgia-new-voting-law-explained/7133587002/

I think it was clear that Wombat doesn’t even know who owns the Braves (Liberty Media) let alone whether they have the political clout to change laws in Georgia. They are worth a small fraction of companies like Coca Cola and Delta. Also not sure what Robert Kraft has to do with anything; he owns a team and business in Mass. but got caught paying for sex in Florida. Since he’s a Democrat I doubt the locals were looking to do him any favors; in the current climate it was a miracle someone didn’t leak the tapes.
