I know, I know, just what we need another 4.99 CC topic. However, I was curious how many games everyone out there was able to pick up. I was lucky enough to get 12 games.
 
none yet. went yesterday, saw a couple from the list, but weren't in the sacred "bin," so i left

Perhaps there could be anoth poll structured for a different question: Did you manage to get anything or did you miss out entirely? There might be some inbetween levels of 'got some but nothing great', etc.

I got ZERO. I went early today and there was zip, nadda.

I'm guessing peolpe hoarded the games.
I just wanted to buy some games cheaply *sigh*.

All this buying all the copies to make a profit on ebay or to trade them in is sickening.

I was only planning on buying 4-6 - BUT THERE WERE NONE.
 
Ya, I got ZERO because the closest CC to me is 100 miles away....be thankful for what you got! I wish I could have nabbed one, just one! I hate Iowa...
 
I only found 2 GBA games I thought might be good enough to play. There are a few other $4.99 GC and GBA games I found at the local Circuit City, but I dind't get them because I thought the games might not be good enough to waste $5 on.

I got 7. That was my goal, and I won't be one of the jerks selling them all on ebay. I'm probably one of the few people that want to play them all.

SX superstar for the xbox, everyone on the net says it blows. So I'd would rather take it back and get my money and give the game to someone who would appriciate a 5 buck game(no matter how crappy).
 
I only got one (Max Payne GBA) but looking back over the list, the only other game I really would have wanted was Futurama. I saw Sim City 2000 there but I figured that would suck on Game Boy. The rest of the $5 stuff I either already had or couldn't care less about.

i got 15 and i've played and enjoyed most of them....i got a few for friends that i have already given to their new respective owners......great fun deal...hopingfor more..my llist is on my site
 
Man that really pisses me off, some people are so damn greedy. I got one game from this deal and i blame it mostly because of greedy *ss people buying multiple copies of the same game. Thats godd*mn retarded, i hate people sometimes.

State of Emergency.

I could've got them the day the $5 prices started, but I went the next day, shelves were half empty...
 
I ended up with 52 games from 5 stores over 2 days. Whew! Actually it's only going to be 50 because I already returned one game and another one was a GBA game where the cart had been taken out of the box and therefore I need to return that one too (well, the box/instructions since the cart never was there). Anyway, an even 50 then was my haul. No Disgaea, Mario Party 4 or Secret Weapons Over Normandy, three games I really really wanted, but a bunch of stuff. My GameCube collection, already quite large, exploded.

For all you people concerned about hoarding, I only got a handful of doubles and passed over a bunch more so no need for the flames.
 
I got 6 but had to return Frequency as I noticed Sunday night that the side and bottom of the shrinkwrap was sliced open and there was no game (thanks CC employees!) so I took it back for a refund.

Left with Ico, Buffy, Futurama, non-GH Maximo and Rocky.
 
20... the only game I bought more than one of is Dead or Alive Volleyball, but that's because my CC had 12 copies. However, I purchased only 2 of them. If only I could have snagged Grandia Xtreme and Toe Jam & Earl...

overall, not bad at all....I was real happy to get DOOM 2, Disgaea and Mario Party 4. I passed up on some games that I saw like Bokati(GBA), Syberia (XB) and JSRF and Stuntman (GBA) and Spy Hunter 2 (XB). The only games I didn't find that I wanted were Ring of Red, Rez and Star Wars Jedi Outcast. I already had Morrowind GOTY and Ikaruga before this sale, so I wasn't too worried about finding those. Thank you CAG and to the OP who first informed us, you made my july 4th weekend one to remember.

I got six new games at $4.99 and one game at $13.99 since it was cheaper than anywhere else. My CC was somewhat cleaned out, but most of the games that were clearenced, I already own.
