The Mega Man Effect for Windows

you may have ruined my life, by showing me the coolest thing I will ever see in my life, thus everything I will see from this point on will pale in comparison.
 
Oh yeah, I was gonna post this weeks ago. I did install it at work :shock: But it gets ridiculously annoying after about a half hour. Even if you click to skip the whole thing it slows every program by a couple seconds to load it.

It'd be great if you could set it only to certain programs. I might look into the registry and see what can be done.
 
great googily moogily! I'm so gonna install this on my friends PC when he ain't looking (He's a big Megaman fan). Too cool.

edit: to Purple Flames: That zombie baby from the Daft Punk video freaks the heck out of me!
 
this was cool but it got annoying. adds to the load times, plus programs in the background will all of a sudden pop up, like free download manager so all of a sudden your computer stops and it pops up, and youre like uhhhh

edit: itd be cool if you could set it to only a few programs
 
I don't think I want my porn Torrents featured as Mega Man villians.

Kept me interested for a few minutes...then I turned it off since it got annoying.
It was pretty cool though for all 3 mins it lasted :D
 
I think the best use of this is to turn it on in at the beginning of the day, open a few things, go "Duuuude......Mega Man...." like a stoner then turn it back off.
 
Hahahaha, that's freaking awesome.

The problem is, it seems to be forced to run in 320 x 240, I'm thinking (could be higher), so it has to go and change my resolution, which takes a couple seconds on this old CRT. Oh, well. A fun diversion.
