I talked to CHEAPY and he said it was okay for us to do these refferals as long as we keep it all in one thread. It shouldn't get locked from now on out.

This thread is for people who properly used this conga line to create a FreeFlatScreens.com account. If you already have a FreeFlatScreens.com account from another source, DO NOT POST YOUR REFERRAL LINK HERE.

Any referral link posts that do not follow the rules below will be ignored and/or deleted.

This is another pyramid-type deal by the same company that is doing the freeipods thing. If you don't believe it...I suggest you go check out flyertalk forums where several people have already received their TV's. It's no scam friends. This is the real thing...

Note: It is okay to sign up for both the ipod and the flatscreen.

They are also offering free flat-panel monitors and flat-screen TV's.
Really? FREE?
Yes. The way it works is that you have to sign up for an offer with one of their partners - these are businesses that give them money for referring customers. Then 8 more people have to do the same thing, using the link you are given when you sign up. Many of these offers can be fulfilled without actually spending any money. ancestry.com, for example, you can sign up, and then just call and cancel within a week, and you will not have to pay anything at all. Many other offers are fulfilled by ordering some product, which you can then return for a full refund (be sure to read the terms carefully before signing up for any offer, you are responsible for your own actions!). A new addition is the EBAY offer which is going to make it much easier for us to move through the list in a timely manner.

Basically, this is how it functions.
Use the first link in this post as a referral to sign up at FreeFlatScreens.com. DO THIS FIRST!
Post your link, along with the name of the person whose link you used AND THE OFFER COMPLETED, to this thread.
I will add your name and link at the bottom and, if all goes well, it will be your turn at the top of the list.
Whenever someone signs up under you, report back to us about whether they have completed their offer or not. If they don't complete their offer, we need to know so that they can be removed from the list.

If you have already signed up for a flatscreen, It is NOT okay to re-register under a different email address in order to join the conga. Your referral will be disqualified if you do this. We're sorry, but that's the way this company works. You might even be disqualified for just clicking on more than one referral...

After the person you signed up under report that you have completed your offer, you get a + after your name. If you don't complete your offer in a timely manner, you will be removed from the list!!

After a person has 8 referrals, their link is taken down and the next person is at the top of the list.

Please also read the end of the thread to see if more people have signed up since the list was last updated. If they have, and you are pretty sure the top person has all 8 referrals, go ahead and use the next referer. Be sure to include the name of your referer!

Another thing that should be obvious to everyone: by definition, not everyone who joins this chain will be able to get their free flat-screen from this forum alone, you can always refer people from elsewhere to fulfull your goal. That's how pyramids work.

think about the concept (if it even worked) when one person joins, it will take 8 referals to complete the offer, so by this method, after the FIRST offer is completed, there will be SIXTY FOUR more people necesarry for everyone on the list to get their monitor.. but the time there are 12 people on the list there would need to be 106 people for everyone to get their product... its nearly impossible and even if the offer IS completed, your chances of recieving it are slim, if you want to do it, go ahead, im not trying to stop you, just trying to help out those who have not / cannot understand the conecept behind these...

Exactly, its just like the original pyramid schemes. Yes, it works for some people, but the majority of the people don't get a thing. Only the top few pyramids of the level will ever see a screen or an i-pod. And I wonder if these things are 100% legal with all of the anti-pyramid laws on the books now.
 
When you make the rules more strict it actually works because inactive people get eliminated from the list. Basically when the list gets too big you boot people that aren't keeping an eye on the list. Go to Flyertalk forums and see how they manage their congas. Over 11 people have gotten their Flatscreen accounts Completed and are waiting for their orders to be shipped. 2+ people have already gotten their flatscreens.
 
Does anybody know how to add this thread to a a bunch of search engines like yahoo? If so could somebody please do that to get some extra traffic in here......that will get things heated up on this conga

The thing about those laws, though, if I'm not mistakin (and I'm not sure that I'm not), is that they mostly pertain to pyramid schemes done through the mail. I kinda think that those laws are aboutl abuse/fraud of the postal service, moreso than the scheme itself. But for something like this, I'm not sure that that would apply.
 
Tennisjon2002 Just got deleted off the list because he didn't actually sign up underneath me. I am getting a lot of people that are trying to jump on the list that have already signed up. Also I have like 11 pending and 1 completed. If you guys actually complete your offers this line will move. How successful this line is, depends entirely on you guys.

I'm not gonna repeat this again.....I repeat: I am not adding anybody who does not follow the rules. Read them carefully. Deadbeats will be kicked off the list. It's not that hard of a concept.

If you signed up for an offer edit your post and include the 3 things I require to get added. I'll add you in your spot when I verify you followed them correctly.

Thanks you I got the confirmation email thing from ebay but when i click on it it says wrong confirmation code. I told ebay and am in the process of working this out. Thanks
 
FINALLY!!! My AOL offer finally went through! Put a + next to my name. I also have 1 "Joined, but offer not completed".
 
I got some of my own refferals and took myself off of the list. As soon as eshbum's Columbia house offer goes through I'll have 8 completed. For now everybody sign up using DaVinci42's link. Keep it up guys! Guaranteed if you do it right this stuff works. I currently have a check on it's way from Freeslide, and an Ipod 20GB from freeipods "in progress 2". Good luck
 
I have 7 sign ups(6 unique), 2 completed.

2 look like they are from the same person, so I might lose both. Both are pending:

I just re-read the terms. I could have my account put on "hold" because of this. WTF! I don't know what to do.

I pray they don't notice, or maybe if this person doesn't do the offer(s) it won't count against me. I know they try to keep from sending out as many as possible.

yo they took out the ebay offer for the site
i still completed it thought but since they took it out now u think it will still count
