My apologies if this is a stupid question but I'm not familiar with the magazine threads .. does something like Maxim, FHM, or Rolling Stone ever become available for free?

Thanks 6669, signed up for the EGM subscription..

.Does anyone know if these free subs will actually arrive, just wondering because my original EGM subscription that I paid for ends this december and I dont want to renew if I can get a year for free.

I've gotten plenty of free subs, especially EGM. I think I got it for the next 7 yrs free.

So far I can confirm that both EGM and CGM work, atleast the last ones did. I've been getting mine for a month now.

Maxim/FHM/Stuff used to be quite a bit about a year ago, but all of a sudden, the offers have stopped. There were some earlier this year, but the offers died quickly.
Ive never seen one for Rolling Stone.

I was actually getting Rolling Stone a while back for free. I think I got it through TeenFreeway. It's long since dead, though.

Wow, you're one of the lucky ones to get through on one of those. They tend to offer magazines that aren't usually offered free, so it doesn't surprise me.

hey guys, i have a question. I went on the ziff davis media site (zdmcirc.com) because i haven't been receiving my EGMs lately, and logged into my accout. And in my account, for last transaction, it said "stop and hold," does that mean the reason i haven't been receiving my magazines is because somehow they got the idea that i wanted them to hold my subscription back?

PS: thanks 6669, for the magazine subscriptions:D

I have had this problem with EGM in the past holding subscriptions even when I paid for it back in the day. Just send them an Email to fix it. I'm not sure why they do this but they do it occasionally.

Just a heads up for people on that Maxim offer and any others from freebiepeople.com ....

This is what testers at McAffee Site Advisor discovered about the site:

"106 e-mails/week After entering our e-mail address on this site, we received 106 e-mails per week."

Just a word of warning

Yeah, I know if you sign up for a free digital subscription, your print subscription wont be mailed anymore. You'll have to email them to get that changed back to print.

this should be pinned, and the other one deleted

I'll contact a mod about that.

I'll add that to the OP, too. Thanks.

**Also, I'm gonna try not to post in this thread unless I'm posting an offer. That way, if you see my name on the main page under this thread, you'll know I just posted a free mag. After posting an offer, I'll answer all the questions and comments. Thanks again for all your praise!
