every single NES game ever made - ebay auction @ $8000!?

EVERY GAME NINTENDO LICENSED

aww it doesn't unlicensed rare porn games, tetris or nes championship.

i hate to be person who have to test these game out or clean every single cart with rubbing alchol

I put a bid in on it. I'll pay $9,200. But not a penny more.

$9,300 with 5+ days left, so how much do you think it will go for?
hmmm, i have about half of that...but sadly i did sell my gem, Bubble Bobble 2 less then a year ago
That must have netted you some cash. My brother has BB2 complete and mint--I always try to convince him to sell it for $300 on eBay, but he refuses. I wouldn't be able to justify keeping it.

damn, i thought my 350+ (on many different consoles) games was a decent size. wow, i am amazed. though i only started collecting 2 years ago were they have probably been for MANY years, i still am quite amazed!

there's one auction for licensed games, one for unlicensed, one for 545 licensed manuals, one for 45 unlicensed manuals, one for dust covers, which don't appear to be included with either game lot, and a multitude of auctions for smaller sets of complete games that come as cart-only in the bigger lots. they're really maximizing profit potential.

So unliscened games means they are not made by Nintendo, are some just 3rd party knock offs? do any other systems have unliscened games?

Unlicensed games were made by third parties who didnt pay royalties to nintendo on the carts they made. They either were rejected by Nintendo as licensee, or they didnt want to follow Nintendos rather draconian licensing policies and fees. Unlicensed games dont have the gold nintendo seal of (dubious) quality on them, and they dont look like standard nes carts. You ever see one of those black Tengen carts? Thats an unlicensed cart. Later iterations of the nes came with some sort of lockout chip so that these games wouldnt play. But some unlicensed carts even circumvented those attempts by Nintendo.

That is absolutely nuts. I have almost every NES game this guy has (missing a couple licensed, Bubble Bobble 2, Dragon Warrior IV, Flintstones 2) plus a ton of unlicensed games (where many of the real valuable ones are anyway) and this makes me kind of want to sell off. I mean, $25,000 is a hell of a lot of money. I have a ton of boxes and manuals as well, most very good/great condition. I can't believe people are paying this kind of money for this lot.

Is this really even worth it for whomever has to pay for this. I mean, when you're reaching $50 a game it's almost getting to the absurdly overpriced point. Honestly, what percentage of those games sell for $0.75 or less?

The price is almost $30000. That means over $40 per game. These games aren't even close to being worth that much. If every game was complete in box, sure.

Now that's worth it if I were rich. Every NES game boxed? That's a dream right there.
Those are more than likely shill bids.
No Peekaboo Poker, no sale. :)
Thats what I thought too, but now that its up to $241,000.00, it seems like this is the work of griefers trying to ruin his auction.

Especially that "Bidder 24." It's easy to see that the price really didn't start to make leaps until this bidder entered the ring. 1-9 feedbacks, registered less than 90 days ago. Yep, definite griefer.
WHAT! $20,000 and no Mike Tyson's Punchout
I think it's there, listed under "Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream"
I think it's there, listed under "Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream"
There's 2 different Punchout's. Mr. Dream made his only appearance on the Nintendo Entertainment System game re-release of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! known this time only as Punch-Out!!. Mr. Dream replaces Mike Tyson as the final boss in the game

Haha. You know, even if it had ended at $8000, I still honestly wouldn't consider it that good of a deal. That'd be $12.50 a game, which, while good for stuff like the Dragon Warriors and whatnot, isn't really balanced out by the number of games in there that are worth sub-$1.

It's a colossal rip-off, at this point.

I just checked it, it is at 21000... incredible rip off, over 30 a game... nevermind you that many games can be had for under a buck if you look carefully... very few UNBOXED NES games are worth 30 anyway

Geez, most of the valuable games were the ones NOT licensed... the trio of X Rated games, certain Tengen titles

I wouldnt pay more than a couple thousand for that lot if that

1mill just now when i looked at the link..., then I clicked the link again and its down to 21,211.

some major weird stuff going on in this auction

Looks like the auction was killed, I've stopped selling stuff on eBay since 2003 for this same reason, WAY TOO MANY time wasters and scammers, not to mention craps I have to put up with eBay, consider the royalties I'll have to pay them. Even if the transaction is sucessful, you can lose your money from Paypal chargeback for unknown reasons.

I still sell stuff on half.com, at least your payment is guaranteed, the only risk is someone stealing credit card which you simply wait 2-3 days before shipping out, nearly all legit buyers are more than happy to wait as long as I tell them about it.

I believe you meant 7350.61 CDN. Ended at $6202.00 US. Averages to $9 a game plus the shipping plus the rest of the money goes towards the system and controllers etc. WAY too high. Should have gone for closer to $3700 or so as it was lacking the most expensive US game- stadium events.

It had a PAL Stadium Events, which is worth maybe $100, compared to the $900 for a US copy. they did not mention this but if you know what you are looking for, you will be able to tell the difference (check the second topic from the top on nintendoage.com to see what i mean)
