Edit- Looks like this just hit front page of SD.

Newegg is having a gaming blowout and like most Newegg deals of this sort it's already going fast and some stuff selling out.  The full list is below but some prices as of writing are not showing until you click the item itself.

As you can see on the page there's supposed to be a 10% off code VGMADNESS1 but again as of writing it is not working.  If you really want something it's only 10% and I would not wait and miss out.

Highlight at the moment is Arkham Origins 360 for $25 with a $20 XBL card.  This is limited to one free GC per person and it will cancel any more you order beyond that and charge you full price for the game.

Just for future reference, how the heck do you do that? You can't straight up copy and paste because the link is truncated. And if you right click on the link and "copy link location" then it converts the backslashes to "%2" and converts other characters to other weird codes which the browser can't convert back automatically... !?!!??

I just bought the Arkham Origins and $20 GC deal. I chatted with newegg rep about the 10% off promo after I had placed my order and the lady gave me $2.50 credit back on my credit card. I encourage whoever did not get to use the code to do this. Literally took 2 minutes and got $2.50 back from it.

He was saying to click on the op's quote button and copy and paste the link to the promotion. Also you can search on newegg's site the promo code PPSSLGAJTTJYUG.

I was asking because I wasn't sure if using Paypal meant they couldn't refund my "credit card" since I wouldn't be using one. Also, searching on that code doesn't bring up LEGO Marvel for PS4, which is the only game I'm interested in getting here.

Aside from Arkham Origins I really don't see anything here that I'd clasify as a good deal.  And of course this is Newegg so it's hardly worth the trouble, anything else I try to order will no doubt be OoS.  I'm not a PS4 owner but I'd be a tad irked that they seem to be including $60 games in this sale too  :???:

Wouldn't be worth the gas for me, but I guess if you have a Target close by it's worth it? Either way I haven't heard good things about this game, and it's a Lego game which means it probably wasn't great to begin with :oops: Either way hope you do enjoy it!

How would a game like that even work on the Gamepad? I played it on the Wii some and it was just a wagglefest but at least it made sense with the sports theme.

I know they made some DS versions of the game (though how those would work is beyond me), and I know some were notorious for destroying the touch screen. So I'd be careful if I were you.

Debating on getting FFXIV on the PS3 and Lego Marvel on PS4. If Lego Marvel was $20, I would have jumped on it.

What are you talking about? From what I've read, LEGO Marvel was the best LEGO game in quite some time, and the PS4/XB1 versions got better ratings than other versions. It also sounds somewhat ignorant to assume it isn't good because "it's a LEGO game"; they've been getting pretty great reviews lately since LEGO LotR. :???:

I live less than 2 miles from a BB, Target and Gamestop, so travel time is never an issue for me.

I played it for a few hours. I like it, but then again the LEGO games are all about the characters and laid back gameplay, so you have to be playing in for that reason to enjoy it.

 
I successfully used live chat to have a rep refund me $2.50 once my LEGO Marvel order is processed and shipped. Thanks to those who suggested going that route.

ehh... I missed all the good deals.

I should stop sleeping ...or moved to the west coast so the sale time is more reasonable (12am pst vs 3am est)

Huh, that was out of stock the last time I checked... Weird, it's now back in stock.

The multiplayer sucked; worst CoD ever. But extinction mode was fun. Just my opinion. If you can afford to get Titanfall, or to wait for a sale on it, then I would recommend that instead. Got it Tuesday and it is fun and addicting.

Nothing really jumps out at me but it did introduce me to Guided Fate Paradox, which I'd never heard of and am now kinda interested in checking out.  Thoughts on this game?

Kind of, same universe and it's turn based grid but almost more of a rogue like than a SRPG. The $30 price point seems to be new MSRP though FYI.

Try live-chatting. It worked for me (though I still have to send an email to the rep when my order ships to get the 10% credited back to me).

 
Newegg seems to be coming with very good deals lately! What I like about them is I don't have to pay the additional tax like at other places and can use further promo codes like V by Me.

Just waiting for some good deal on Assassin's Creed BF!
