YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Well shit. After taking the time to sort out and group all the games and accessories by receipt and bagging them up, I went to my local store with four bags of stuff only to get shot down on a price adjust. The manager said "corporate told us we can't do that", I said that was funny because I've been reading tons of reports of stores all across the country honoring it and I feel kind of gypped I can't do it here. She said "Oh, well corporate told us directly not to, so sorryyyyyy". 

I was pretty mad, but at least I didn't spend any more than I wanted to when I picked up the games in the first place. If I had picked them up earlier in the sale when they were more expensive, hoping for a price adjust and got shot down, I'd be really pissed. I'd try another store, but the closest ones are forty five minutes to an hour away, one way and dealing with shitty highways and suburbs, so not worth it. 

My final haul, not showing the five or six other Clean & Protect kits and one Rainbow Stylus pack that I've opened and been using:

I'm honestly surprised that the stores haven't been cracking down on returns and re-purchases. Typically clearance sales like this are "ALL SALES FINAL".

It's okay, I got burned the same way by Tekken 3D and a couple other games. Got greedy and thought I'd wait it out for higher percent.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I saw Jak and Daxter Collection out on the shelf with SotC/Ico, the God of War games, Twisted Metal, and that Gran Turismo game, all for PS3. I thought it was odd because I've been picking that store for weeks and never saw Jak and Daxter. Had the old lady at electronics ring up Twisted Metal and Jak and Daxter, but they were both showing $19.99. I said I was disappointed that they were on clearance weeks ago but aren't now. She said that they don't take anything off clearance and that the computer would show it. She was a nice old lady, so I didn't call her on her bullshit, but I'm a little miffed I missed out on a couple more PS3 games.

My Phoenix stores also have the PS3 games at full price. Didn't have the time to weasel with the staff though.

I bought a 3DS fairly late into this clearance, I wish I had done so sooner so I could pay attention to DS games while they were around...

I don't think it has, bought a copy of it like two weeks ago and it was still clearance. Haven't been able to find another copy after that.

 
Went a couple days ago to a few Toysrus' in Columbus, OH and managed to snag these games not marked as clearance but rang up as such:

Ico/sotc rang up on the thing $19.99 but said promo by it, employee said it was $19.99...should it have been clearances or is the promo thing something else?

I recall that game actually being taken off the clearance list. There was like, 6 games that got taken off that list awhile ago.

Those are the four I am certain of. I know one of the God of Wars was, don't recall if it was Saga or Origins Collection. I had them scan Saga the other day and it was $19.99, saw Origins today but didn't have them scan it because I figured it would be the same thing and I don't really care about GoW. I think Naruto Ultimate Nina Storm 3: Full Burst :360: might have been ringing up clearance at one point since I've seen it in a couple haul pictures, but I had them scan it the other day and I believe that was either $19.99 or $29.99

Went back to my local store tonight thinking i wouldn't find anything. To my surprise i manged to get a copy of Lumines for the vita for $1.50, and splinter cell blacklist for the WII U for $2.

Let me guess planning to flip the ds cases on eBay? Last year I flipped like 176 empty ds cases w/ some cover-artwork and manual (got them from gamestop, you know dumpster diving lol) on eBay and made about $128 after fees.

I probably would have grabbed a few to replace some of my favorite DS game cases with new ones, but the only shovelware DS game they had was Generator Rex and it was beat to all hell.

I bought literally the only clearance game at my TRU. I checked every week & found nothing worth getting. Picked this up for $1.75 gonna trade at to GS on the 25th for $13 (50% extra TIV).

lot of good games are back full price. Are all the psp systems on clearance or are some not? Employees are getting sick of me asking them to scan everything...found 2 just dance 4 today in glass case scanned at $2.50!
