72 hour sale, $25 gift card with all games bought.  Can order multiple games in a single order, should see a $25 gift card promo underneath each one.  Free shipping.

Couple caveats:

- gift card is usable at dell only

- online you can only apply one gift card to a new order.  If you call in you can use up to 3.

- it takes 10-20 days for them to email you the gift card after the item ships.

- the gift cards expire 90 days after issue

- their prices are usually meh

- they are terrible at shipping pre-orders, you will get them usually a WEEK after release date

their website is pretty terrible but its Grandpa Dell.  lol at them taking bitcoin though...

I think some of the 3DS, 360, and ps3 games are pretty good deals especially the ones $20-30 like Dishonored GOTY, Mario Kart 7 3DS, most of the Wii U games, etc.

They take a long time, if it says 10-20 days, they mean it. At least 10 days... and possibly all the way to 20 days. On the bright side, some of us have even gotten multiple cards in the past for a single order. When I pre-ordered GTA V, they actually sent me 3x $25 cards. Even though I only ordered it once. So I actually got $75 gift cards, for ordering a $59.99 game.

In this case, I'm getting a $25 gift card for a $19.99 game. Makes no sense, but I'll take it.

 
Picked up Diablo 3 and Mario Tennis last night using two gift cards I already had from previous purchases.

Since they started this offer last year I am doing pretty good so far:

Mario Kart

$28-$33 in gift card per purchase. Soon to be over $200 in gift cards back on games I would of purchased anyways (minus Tennis but it could be fun, if not trade in is decent).

I would of grabbed Destiny but I already have a couple Ghost Editions reserved.

Trick is search for the game if you cant find it.

Buy MK8 from a local store and claim the free game. Then buy a copy from Dell and return that copy to the store. Problem solved.

Fantastic deal.  I picked up the following games:

Minecraft (360) - $19.99

Minecraft (PS3) - $19.99

Elder Scrolls V:  Skyrim (360) - $19.99

Mario Golf:  World Tour (3DS) - $29.99

Mario Kart 7 (3DS) - $29.99

Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS) - $29.99

I figured that as long as those gift cards can be applied toward Xbox Gift Cards or game preorders, those are fantastic prices for games that I definitely am interested in playing.  I wish I had a Discover Card so that I could get that 10% Cashback, but even without that bonus this is still a great offer.

 
Wonder if Best Buy will price-match this. It says on their site they price match dell.com. I'm going to try it when I go get Last of Us Remastered today. My BB still PMs giftcards btw.

Hope in one hand, poop in the other. Guess which one fills up first. Dell is slow with gift card payouts. I ordered MK8 and it was delivered on the release date of late May. My gift card email is dated June 20.

 
Good thing I have a crazy long backlog of games to not worry about the $25 gift card right away. I'll say this much about the site: it takes me back to 2006...the year we bought our last PC from them...then I took a class to convince my parents I wouldn't get killed building a PC...

Got PS3 Minecraft. Honestly, I think there's a right way to do this...for me at least: 

I really am aiming for Wonderful 101 because my Toys R Us stores aren't clearing them (you lucky CAGs out there) for $29.99 on Dell.com. Me being impatient would want to buy 101 first and then just use the $25 on Minecraft of XBOX credit.

BUT: I would have had $30.00 + tax coming out of my account regardless. By buying Minecraft first then 101, I'll only have spent $25 + tax. Only a $5 difference, but hey $5 is $5.

so...whats the best way to do this deal and get Destiny PS4 for cheap?  I was thinking of getting Minecraft :ps3: for $20, trade it to GS for $11.xx after promos making it a net of $8, then get Destiny with the GC for $35.  Would be $43ish total.

 
keep in mind dell may screw you on shipping new releases, like running out of stock or delaying a long time.  imo I really wouldn't pre-order a MP game like Destiny or GTA5 from Dell or K-Mart, your chances of having nothing while all your friends are playing are higher than average.

got mario golf and kirby for  64 shipped  with 50 gift card. Thinking use that gift card to buy year of psn (what would be 40)

24 out of pocket.  Sell kirby  to  Gamestop for at least  14     end up with  mario golf for 10 

 
My Mario Golf came in the mail 2 days after I ordered it. That was fast for free shipping! Will definitely be ordering from Dell again.

 
Doesnt look like i will get my 100 dollar gift card in time for this. Its day 17 since the day they shipped my PS4. Ive contacted them through email and twitter and im still here waiting. Both people just told me to wait 2-4 days.  -_-

dont expect it anytime soon i asked about one i was 15 days on and they please allow 30 to 35 days. They got a lot of orders and the gift cards are coming out late

i think it was every game comes with a 25 buck gift card that screw up their systems. I know monday there were offering a Pc virus thing for 10 bucks and get 25 gift card and that flooded them even worse.

 
So I ordered Dead Island riptide and GTA Complete on 360 but, could not order pac-man for the 3ds as it doesn't list it as coming with the gift card, but is in the section. Any help?

Oh well the pre-order bonuses were nothing special and the game was free because of gift cards and refunds for their mistakes.

I just cant advise ordering anything you want day 1 or with pre order bonuses from Dell. Anywhere else has easier customer service and make way less mistakes...

 
I just ordered The Last of Us Remastered from them. I had $50 in gift cards already(which took forever and a couple of customer service chats to get) so I thought I would get the game again since I traded the PS3 version in way back. They wouldn't bump the price down to $49.99 for me, said it was more expensive because of the gift card promo. Hopefully I have better luck with getting the GC this time.

 
Dell is so awful to deal with.  I ordered a ps4 weeks ago, got stolen so I got a new shipment.  They were supposed to send me MLB14 plus two games as a replacement for my infamous bundle, I wound up with the Killzone bundle, and I never received shipping notice till after my items were already received.  I got a call from a fedex driver saying "hey were at your house" and I was completely shocked.  So unprofessional.

Dell's supply chain and logistics are that fubar? Wow...glad I don't buy computers from them.

So I wonder if that means if my Minecraft PS3 copy is at my door already.

Yeah I buy from Dell a lot and I have for many years.

The older I get the more I wonder is the one to two hours on the phone really worth saving the money from them. At this point I am doubting it for small purchases. I got a steal on my last PC but $10 for a game is just not worth it. (of course I have four $25 gift cards on the way...)

Even my last order Last of Us was placed a month ago for the free gift card with overnight shipping. Dell decides to overnight ship it to post office by my house where it sat in Post office processing for 3 days... Spent an hour on the phone with them trying to figure out what went wrong before they just admitted they had no idea and offered me $10 back.

Also just so everyone is aware even when you call in you are allowed a maximum of 3 forms of payment per purchase. So you will only usually end up using 1-2 gift cards and your credit card on the rest.

 
Is this dead? I've added various games to my cart and don't see any $25 gift card promo disclaimers when viewing cart.

I got a delay until the 8th, and now another one until the 12th.

Hope this doesn't impact the gift card, I can imagine this being a problem since dell Doesn't send out cards for like 20 days - and that probably means 20 days from the order fulfillment, not from when we place the order. So at a minimum, the gift card is probably being delayed here if they end up fulfilling it at all. I'm patient, but I hope I don't have to waste time "fighting" for my gift card.

 
Got my wonderful 101 yesterday, now to play the waiting game for the eGC and decide what to do with it.  Also had ordered a PS4 dual charger kit a few days earlier, but that hasn't shipped yet.

I still haven't received the $25 egift card and it's between a few days after the 20 day mark.  I sent a message asking where it's at will take 2-4 days to get a reply.  First and last time I'll shop at Dell.com.  Well, other than my spending the $25 egift card once I receive it.

Same here. Waiting on 3 x $25 gift cards. If I don't receive them by Monday, I'll contact them to see what's up too.

This is pretty much normal procedure with Dell. I haven't got mine yet eithter (although my item was backordered for a week, so I figured my gift card would also be an additional week). Supposedly they do this so that the return period ends before they send out a gift card.

To my knowledge they generally come through in the end - they just use every bit of the 20 days they state (and sometimes it seems like it's even a few days additional).

i got mine with nothing to buy. As soon as they shipped them they removed all of the PSN stuff. now stuck with 2 cards with nothing to buy

The last time I ordered with the $25 card promo, I had to call and kindly remind them that I was due a gift card. It was then sent immediately.

While that sort of service is far from optimal, I'm still happy with the deal. I'm planning on calling in a few days if I don't get my gift card this time as well.

I bookmarked this link, which takes me to the current gaming deals. Im really hoping they add something like Assassins Creed Unity/Rogue before my GC expire right at the beginning of November. There really isnt much i want on the site right now. So hopefully they are going to add new games soon.

Yep, I'm still waiting for my gift cards as well. I ordered on July 31st, but when i contacted dell customer service, they said I was invoiced on the August 6th, so If i don't hear back in two days I will have to make a call. Far from ideal, but I got Minecraft and wonderful 101 both of which i wanted.
