  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Honestly, I'm still on the fence whether or not to get the Season Passes for Wolf Among Us and TWD season 2. Leaning toward TWAU since I have the first episode. Don't the season passes include episodes 2-5 and you have to buy the 1st episode?

Yep season passes don't include the base game. I haven't played TWD season 2 yet, but I thought the conclusion to TWAU kind of sucked. There was one really good part in episode 5 that stole the show. Overall not horrible, but I can't recommend it.
 
Mafia 2 is really fun and worth it at this price

I love the whole 40's vibe from it and the story is pretty good so far

I didnt get hooked at all into GTA V Online like i thought i would,maybe its cause i didnt start the game till about a year later and i hate the whole leveling up shyt,i think it would have been alot better if all you had to worry about was making money instead of leveling up so you can just be able to wear armor -_-

 
I hope they at least have a private invite only mode that's lets you use everything eventually. I couldn't get into the whole leveling thing either.

I beat the story mode on Easy after I lost enough times and the game said "want to play on easy?". The problem is that Alpha Patroklos uses Setsuka's moveset, so if you never used her, or were terrible in SC3&4, you're going to be terrible against Elysium in SC5.

Not being able to choose your character and ratcheting up the AI to 11 for Nightmare and Elysium is rage-inducing as well. ZWEI sucks, too.

SCV's story is so half-assed it's barely worth playing, it was destroyed since Team Soul had to push the game out almost a year earlier than expected.

Alpha Patroklos was the most top-tiered character for a while, don't know about now. If you're playing on the lowest difficult pretty much any character has something to spam, usually throws or a faster unblockable. Nightmare is generally best to stay aggressive with, Elysium isn't anything special aside from her Super being good, you might just need more practice in general as the switching movesets can throw you off at first. If you think they're too hard now, make sure you stay away from Legendary Souls for a while.

Anyways, most of my mileage was from online, making characters, and Quick Battle.

 
I finally beat the Story mode in Soul Calibur 5 after spamming the same attack on the A.I. Now all I need to do is level up and unlock stuff to create cool characters.

 
Is the Titanfall Season Pass worth it? I got the main game for cheap on X1 and I've been enjoying it. Google isn't really giving me any solid answers on its quality.

Haven't bought it yet but at $25 I don't think you can go wrong with it. Most people say it's worth it as well.

I'm personally waiting on a sale.

I've got close to 50 hours into Titanfall right now. I find no need to buy the maps. The maps the game came with are all pretty good and in my opinion aren't really boring. Maybe if you're tired of the maps or want more achievements, it's worth it.

I've picked up the first two map packs and enjoy them. I think it is in the end. All depends how much you plan on playing the game or how much you've played already. Note....I like Frontiers Edge MUCH more than Expedition.

How many default maps are there? It's like I play on the same 3 maps.

 
I just saw Shadow Complex on sale, and I frantically hit the buy button on my iPad. That game has never been on sale and I have been waiting for a sale on it for what seems like forever. I was going to bite the bullet and buy it at M.S.R.P, but it seems my waiting paid off.

GTA V hasn't even been out for a year, and GTA Online started around 6 weeks after GTA V released.

Yeah it was on sale before. it was like 33% off last time. didn't get it because my minimum is 50%. Def getting it now. only wish the Mass Effect 2 DLC would go on sale. Some of that hasn't been on sale since like 2009 or 2011. With all the free credit from Gamestop I will get that at any percent off.

My Xfinity wouldn't even let me watch anything on demand last night. No idea why. I pay for my DVR and on demand stuff but everything wanted to charge me a fee.

Who knows. They've also shown I haven't used any data this month either but I know for a fact I've downloaded at least 40GB between Metro and diablo uee.

Pinball Arcade update on XB1 and Xbox 360:

XBox One Update

We are in the process of certification currently, so you can expect to see the XBox One version out in the near future! Those who chose XBox One as their platform will be notified when their table is unlocked.

Microsoft has finally allowed us to get a new publisher! We are currently going through the certification process. We will be notifying people that chose 360 as their platform when their tables are unlocked.

I'm debating on finally picking up Shadow Complex given its price, yet this game screams GwG to me.

Are you willing to wait another four years for a potential sale if it doesn't go GwG...? With the game being nearly universally lauded as one of the best XBL metroidvanias that should be your starting off point if you're really going to debate buying it at 25% or 33% or whatever it's on sale for right now.

I agree. I bought it just a short time ago and the game wasn't even on my radar. A no-brainer for a measly $4.94.

 
Shadow Complex is easily in my top three XBLA games of that generation. The only negative doesn't really have to do with the game, but that the developer found so much success on iOS that the success of Shadow Complex paled in comparison and never got the sequel it deserved.
