Graphics card died 35 days after purchase and now I have to RMA. Contemplating buying a second one so I don't have to go without my PC for three weeks and then crossfiring when I get the other one back.

That sucks.

What card did you buy?

EDIT:

Sorry to hear that. Which card/brand was it?
I'd guess the brand is probably some kind of Radeon card, since he said "Crossfiring". ;)

For the ultimate #FakeCAGs out there, it seems that GMG is the currently cheapest place to get Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Season Pass. $24.00 after voucher VBHGBM-JS2VN9-0J5OFM (can't combine with credit).
In my frenzy to grab a last-minute pre-order of that game (I am weak), I totally missed that it was the Season Pass. Now I am sad.

Also... $29.99 Season Pass wtf? BL2 was $49.99 and the Season Pass was $19.99 (amirite?). FU2K at the $20 total price hike.

BL2 season pass was also 29.99.

fuck did I actually pay that? There must have been an early sale on it or something. That's outrageous.
For those not willing to do the CAG Thing, then the real question should be this: for one play-through of just the 4 DLC's altogether, does it equal what I probably would've gotten for time + content from a $30 expansion pack in the old days of PC gaming?

I don't have any of the BL2 DLC's, BTW. Basically, I only got the BL2 Base-Game.

So, me - I'd be more interested in a sweet deal on BL2 DLC's, Season Pass, or even the GOTY Edition.

My interest in BL:TPS is just not there - since I'm kind of far behind here; and since BL:TPS likely ain't gonna be cheap (Since it's still Pre-Order!)

What's up with people going nuts over Disney games on Steam?  The discount is merely 10% and the 20 games are not super stellar to begin with.. unless I've missed something?

I'm glad Disney's games are on Steam.

But at those weak discounts, I can play the good old-fashioned CAG waiting game.

EDIT:

{AC Sale}

Doh!

One thing that I'm (minimally) encouraged about is that it's being advertised that this Season Pass includes extra characters whereas BL2's, as we all know, was segregated. I'm hoping The Pre-Sequel's is truly more all encompassing.

Plans for a Second Season Pass just confirmed. ;)

You use that font, but we all know that's their plan.
Oh, I certainly hope not!

EDIT:

It would not surprise me if there actually would be a Second Season Pass, as well.

I remember when BL2 had rumors of a Possible Second Pass were flying around.

There was a great disturbance in The Force when all you horrible CAGs took advantage of the poor, helpless, defenceless Newegg and its $1 AMD code sale.

Hal's $29.99 season pass purchase is simply bringing balance back to The Force.

You should all thank him. Especially you, Jim.

Er, I guess some people will go apesh*@ over any group of 2-5 year-old console ports making their way to Steam.

Like Derrick, I might be interested in one or two of these, but at much better prices. I can get Split/Second and Pure for about 1/4 of that price on PS3 and games are never cheaper on consoles. Also, in case anyone's wondering, Disney Universe is terrible.

Why are the Starbound cards so fucking cute. fuck.
That's some weirdly-selective censoring.

Black Flag only 33% off, are they going backwards on discounts?

That sounds familiar. Maybe not even a glitch but a decent discount.

Hal's taking a bullet isn't nearly enough though. Can we throw some at the ones who stocked up?

As much as I loved Borderlands 2, the DLC pricing and spacing out over time really dissuaded me from pre-ordering this one. I'll wait until I can get a CAG price for all or nearly all of the content at the same time, especially since I was fine playing most of 2's story solo.

Just quick question  was wondering if people be interested in trading steam games for redbox codes  (games that came off bundles cheap)

if so pm me thanks   (got more redbox codes then i need

also if put  game  A into steam account  A  years ago and then forgot i  made the account and made  Account B  is there anyway to get  game  A  into account B

i think it is highly recommended that you co-op Borderlands 2. Solo is a bit lacking

I played Borderlands 2 solo - and had a freaking blast with it.

But, after that solo-ing of the base-game from start to finish, I was done w/ that game.

It's been a long while. So, now would be a perfect time for GOTY Ed, Season Passes, and/or any of the DLC's that I want to go on a very CAG-like deep-discount; especially since BL:TPS is almost right around the corner.

I too played it a lot solo and had a great time. I do have friends that play though, and it is fun to co-op, so it's one of the few games I feel the need to get on or near release. The other game I know I'm gonna cave on is Killing Floor 2 for exactly the same reasons.

I was all set to hold out on BL: TP-S until my friends all started talking about getting it.

Which Ass Creed should I buy, not having played any except Black Flag?  I loved it, but my least favorite parts were the eavesdropping missions.  I even liked the diving bell stuff.

To me, seeing Disney just drop 20 games on Steam like that is a good show of support for PC gaming. And who knows, maybe it'll make other publishers think. In a time when a lot of them have been shying away from the PC market (Destiny and basically any EA Sports game other than FIFA say hello), I definitely appreciated the gesture...even if the prices aren't stellar right away.

BTW - my name is spelled Derick, like so - with one R, actually; not two.

:D

I already have Split/Second PC from Retail. Never even touched it.

Bingo - the more big-name companies + pub's that join the PC gaming, the better.

Maybe this'll get more big-names to bring some of their big-titles to the PC.

Also, I think eventually, it's likely that we'll get Destiny on the PC...just much-much later, not now; like what Rockstar's doing w/ GTA5.

Even Activision + Bungie said Destiny would make a good fit on the PC.

I think it's inevitable, since Activision usually put their games everywhere on consoles + PC.

Get the Ezio trilogy, which is the three AC2 games.

Stay far, FAR away from AC3.
Am I the only one who preferred AC3 over ACR here?

While I dug ACR's story, I hated the new mission types (the Portal-like block puzzles in 1st person sucked from Gold, and the new tower defense missions were horrible). This gave me practically little to no reason to do any of the side-missions. It didn't even feel like much had changed from ACB over to ACR, either.

At least AC3 took me to Boston in the Colonial Period; and I could now even also climb + navigate trees. While I dug the main missions - I thought the hunting was cool. Though, "bleh" @ how poor Connor's character was + the absolute ridiculousness of Connor being and having a hand in almost every important battle + moment during the forming of our country.

I still think AC2 + ACB were the best of the AC games, IMHO.

Still, take into consideration - I ain't played AC4 yet.

AC4 and AC Pirates. All the other ones are slooperty dootiglers. The new artic one looks neat, but isn't out yet.

Or maybe they just want money.

Several games still have Securom. A few are poorly made Wii ports with crappy graphics. Tron still has GFWL, for crying out loud.

AC: Brotherhood > AC2 > ACIV > AC: Rev

Haven't played: AC1, AC3, AC:Librarian or AC:Freedoms Cry or AC:WhateverElse (I've bought AC1 and AC3 this sale, so we'll see where those stack up..)

It brings a tear to my eye to rate ACIV (Black Flag) over AC:R as the story in ACIV was fairly shite (to use Edward's parlance of the times) and Edward as a character was fairly shite too, but the gameplay was tight and the ship stuff was so well done it kept me going. ACR has all those things that made AC:Brothas good and few new things that kinda detract (Tower Defense minigame kinda sucks yo..Bombs?...meh...) but the story is cool if you like Ezio, which I do...so, try AC2 see where it takes you...
